  1. Like, people in pathetic little jobs?
  2. Is there a value to the board in having Yeezus as a non-banned member?
  3. Know what else I like about this trade? It shows me that McBean isnt interested in having excuses to hide behind at the end of the year (injuries, lack of depth, etc.). Couldnt say the same for previous regimes - Marrone in particular was always leveraging and lining up some excuses for his Saint Doug role (God, I hated Marrone).
  4. I suspect that the Jets are going to try to change things up and run it down our throats tomorrow - hope the front seven is prepared.
  5. I understand the take that Sammy was a better fit for what Ty does best. But Ty has shown the ability to evolve his game this year and I think the McBean has wanted bigger receivers from the gate this year. Benjamin makes his benjamins by making contested catches, going over the middle, playing through injuries and firing up his teammates with big catches. Hes a tight end who can line up outside. Im not sure they wouldnt have been interested in adding Benjamin AND Bryant or Pryor. I hated the Sammy trade but I can live with this outcome. Ty has proven this year that he can win games without the deep ball and with a bunch of scrub receivers. The foundation was laid quickly, more quickly than many of us thought possible - now its time to start adding layers. THAT is the process. Thank you for this, Ive changed my view of the trade based on your highly informed and well thought-out take.
  6. The problem with Carolina seems to emanate from its aloof, narcissistic, unserious QB.
  7. They also got Kaelin Clay, don't forget that.
  8. Thompson is a JAG. Anything they get from him is a bonus.
  9. I assume he helps in the run game as well, both as a blocker and as a legit downfield threat to open up some lanes?
  10. No. I think Benjamin and Holmes on the outside with Matthews in the slot (and Zay getting his head right on the bench) is the way the offense needs to look. Big catch radiuses for short TyTy.
  11. It's like they've re-done that Watkins Round.
  12. Calm down with the jinx game. The Meadowlands are tough to escape injury-free.
  13. Anderson, Kearse and ASJ are having good seasons.
  14. I'll say this: if the Phins are dumb enough to trade Landry within the division to the Patriots...
  15. Eh, I get it. Ajayi's knees are completely shot, and he's not a team player. He probably washes out of the league in a year or two. The Eagles just lost Peters and need to find a way to keep their young QB protected. A powerback offense of Ajayi and Blount is a smart strategy. Note to the rest of the NFC East: probably best to defend Ajayi with 11 guys, not 10.
  16. Brady is getting hit a lot this season, that's all I'll say...
  17. This game is HUGE. Win and we're in the playoffs as far as I'm concerned. Lose and it's gonna be a fight.
  18. Yeah he really is. Any team that pays him is toast.
  19. Uh, a short-term consultancy for a sports tech business is not exactly keeping him on the GM track...
  20. Depends whether Peterman is The Savior or not. Then he should have no trouble finding another high-ranking executive job in short order.
  21. One day at at time, people. Please.
  22. One of the Jets dirtbag defenders dove at FJaxs knee and it killed the season, wasnt that it?
