  1. Start? He’s dead meat. If he doesn’t have the stones to get up to 1 or 2 he should go find employment elsewhere. The fans will revolt if they tell us they tried but it was too expensive.
  2. He absolutely should. Have the lessons of history not been absorbed? There is no “we tried” - get it done or find a new job.
  3. If Beane whiffs on a QB this year he should be fired, I don’t care what else he does. This is really it - he has the amunition and there is no excuse. His predecessor was too tentative about the QB position and got canned.
  4. A one-year deal with the Bengals? Who already have a MLB? Not exactly cashing in...
  5. This. Is he any less awkward or silver-spooned than Eli? Same guy.
  6. Hows your pension?
  7. They literally destroyed the planet.
  8. They should trade Lawson and 12 to get to 7. Once there they’re in striking distance of 1-3. They’ll need to deal 22 and more, but hopefully they can hold onto a pick in each of rounds 2 and 3 as well as next year’s 1.
  9. Hellz yes - he’s a hero of mine for sure. No one says “therrrrrre” as creepily as Bob Ross. Yes. The mainstream political narrative talks in terms of wealth redistribution from rich to poor or vice versa. In reality there has been a massive redistribution underway from young to old for some time now - the Buffalo economy is a prime example of it. But you won’t hear about it because Boomers vote. Once someone figures out how to set up a secure voting app for smartphones - and the corrupt state election boards allow it - you’ll finally start to see real change in this country. By the way - only a Boomer would send a Barnes and Noble link...
  10. What else do you picture? I'm intrigued...
  11. The Chargers are going to be moving up - they are not messing around.
  12. That draft would be a disaster.
  13. It's even worse than that actually. Boomers have almost single-handedly destroyed the planet and most of its institutions - and their new pastime is to blame Millennials for that destruction. It's bad enough that Millennials have inherited a situation where they have a substantial likelihood of having a lower quality of life than their parents' generation - but to blame them for it, and to mock them for being "checked out" - is really adding insult to injury. Baby Boomers are the most selfish generation that has ever slithered its way across the planet and it's time for them to cede this round rock to the rest of us so that we can start cleaning up their mess.
  14. Which rookie QBs has Todd Haley developed? It wouldn't be the *worst* idea for Cleveland to take Barkely at 1, Minkah at 4, and Lamar Jackson at the top of Round 2... they probably won't do it, because passing on QBs has cost them over and over again during the past decade, but still...
  15. Actually that article tells me more about why Hue traded for Tyrod. Seems like his offense (now) is more about throwing to a pre-defined spot regardless of whether the receiver is open or what the defense is doing, with a focus on fades/deep outs. Tyrod won't have to process as much during the play.
  16. Your thread got shut down on account of its sheer stupidity, I suspect. This thread doesn't have to worry about that IMO.
  17. It's not a bad idea. He was horrible for the Saints.
  18. Great stuff. If McC puts out some good tape, he has a chance to get paid like Garoppalo and the Bills have a chance to either keep him or trade him for a high pick. Young promising QBs are real assets. Every year the Patriots seem to trade one for value.
  19. You been eating the paint chips again Mead?
  20. I don’t think “pump the breaks” means what you think it means.
  21. Beane understands market value and timing so far. I’m impressed with his maneuvers.
