  1. He injured his shoulder making a tackle against the Eagles. He’s made of glass.
  2. I mean again, the guy injured himself intercepting a pass, with no contact with anything other than the ball. I've never seen anything like it. He's made of glass.
  3. The only issue I have, really, is the reliance on Levi Wallace's frail frame to hold up for an entire season. Simply put: he does not have an NFL player's body. It was just a matter of time. They hopefully realize they need to upgrade the #2 CB position and will do so in the offseason.
  4. Fired per Schefter.
  5. Well to be fair he did put “hi pointed” in the title, so you had fair warning of what you’d be in for...
  6. Save this garbage for talk radio.
  7. Yes, Chief, I’m aware. That’s the “what if” part of my point.
  8. Special teams. Not saying that’s a good enough reason but that’s the reason. Foster is a gunner.
  9. The shame is they could’ve won the division today.
  10. Some guys really took advantage of the opportunity today and others - Barkley, Kroft, Coleman, Bates - didn’t help their 20-21 roster chances.
  11. Barkley just played himself off the 2020 roster.
  12. Between the 40s all year it seems like Daboll’s offense struggles.
  13. I have never seen a player lose his footing as often as Gore. It’s been a thing all year.
  14. Too early for these accolades - they should wait until after the season. But Eric DeCosta basically rebuilt his roster in one offseason to feature a unique offense built around a single player, and they may win the Lombardi. He’d have my vote for sure.
  15. Well said and honestly, as a fan - he’s just great to watch. You never know what you’ll get. 4th and one and he’s stuffed? Think again! But wait he fumbled the ball!! But wait he picked it up himself and now he’s running 45 yards for a TD!!! He’s a roller coaster and it’s kind of awesome. No one knows where the ceiling is and anyone who claims to, in either direction, has an agenda.
  16. What Joe B actually said was that Allen’s performance was basically a Rorschach Test that wouldn’t be enough to convince either camp to change their minds - he made some amazing plays and missed some easy ones, giving fodder for the skeptics and the boosters. Seems like this thread kind of confirms his point...
  17. They are also a historically bad run defense with plenty of money invested in Keuckly and now Thompson. Highly likely Keuckly plays elsewhere next year.
  18. Are you a coach in the NFL? If not, according to you, your analyses are irrelevant.
  19. It means - critiquing Joe B’s analysis because he’s not coaching football is cheap and adds nothing to this discussion. At least the guy is breaking down film and offering real football insight. I’m sure its fairly subjective but he makes some really good points and I am tired of the cheap reactions to any critical writer.
  20. Edmunds tends to play poorly against power run schemes which feature a fullback (or converted linebacker) who “takes the fight” to him. He struggles with getting his pads low and engaging the lead blocker with violence. It does seem fixable and he has definitely improved as the year has gone on. He improved during the game on Saturday. My bigger beef was with Star and Phillips - those dudes should give back their game checks from last week.
