  1. Absolutely. I want to be fully focused on the game. But for me it's a nice Belgian Blonde Ale and a blunt to get game-ready.
  2. Andreesen and Dolac on the Bills would make a nice matched set. Depew and West Seneca.
  3. Another Buffalo kid playing at UB is kicking ass.
  4. Shouldn't that call be a safety?
  5. LOL, I read the wrong stat line. Apparently he threw a pass! 1/1 passing.
  6. Not if he maintains this level of play.
  7. And he plays in Buffalo! Beane, you know what to do next draft.
  8. Amazon and Walmart did malls in. Because it's my home and I want it to thrive. You don't thrive standing still. Big decisions that affect how folks live are made through political patronage and graft. Why is there a Metro Rail? Why is UB in a swamp in Amherst instead of downtown? Why didn't we build a domed stadium in Lancaster in 1969? Why has the foot of main street only become nice recently?
  9. Oh snap, got me there. 🤣 Actually I live 55 minutes from downtown Boston and go there often for shows and dinners. It's one of the great parts of living in So. NH. You can choose the big city or the wilderness and either are a short drive away. But I grew up on Buffalo's East Side. My first job was janitor at the Broadway Market. I know Buffalo from way back. And one of the worst aspects of WNY is being allergic to change. Now change isn't always better, but neither is being stuck in the past.
  10. What dude in VT are you referring to? I live in NH.
  11. So you never go to Sabres or Bandits games? You never go into the bars and restaurants around Key Bank Center beforehand? 🙄
  12. UB to NIU 🤣
  13. This is not true. There's just as much stuff in Foxboro, if not more,, than in OP. And again, if I'm at the stadium, why do I have to drive somewhere? Why can't it just be there? How am I supposed to find parking, which I'm paying $40-50 for, when I drive off somewhere and try to come back? This may come as a shock, but not everyone wants to tailgate for 9 hours before a game.
  14. You can't build a nice hotel by the stadium? Really?
  15. And yet somehow they manage in Foxboro.
  16. It's 2024...at least it is in other NFL cities.
  17. Patriot Place is in Foxboro. It's 45 minutes from Boston, which is what I think you meant. The whole point of having a hotel and a couple restaurants at the stadium is so you can use them AT THE GAME, so I don't have to drive elsewhere!!! How is this not obvious?
  18. Uh, yeah. God forbid people have a nice experience at a Bills game.
  19. James Madison hangs 53 on UNC...in the FIRST HALF!!
  20. Buffalo: think small, be small. Then the stadium should have built downtown instead of doubling down on a mistake made in 1973.
  21. They are home to an NFL stadium. You can't turn around and say "oh, we want to be a sleepy small town." Besides, they are talking about development near the stadium, not throughout Orchard Park. If you ask me, this might be more about the businesses near the stadium now not wanting anything to change. My town doesn't have an NFL team playing in it. (It's also not that rural.) But since you bring it up, there is a bucolic New England town with an NFL team: Foxborough, MA. Patriot Place didn't destroy it. In fact it's a tax boon. But for us, a couple of bars, a 7-11 and a Tim Horton's is all we get for "development."
  22. I went to see Jane's Addiction and Love & Rockets in Boston 9/13. I left before the show ended because I had an early day Saturday and it's an hour drive home. I looked up the setlist and there were only a few more songs to go. Two days later I see this 😂
