    You have to look at every case as to why. You can't make blanket assumptions. The Sabres fell pretty far before turning things around. Consider the division they play in.

    You have a Pats team that played well but lost against the Vikings and the Bills played poorly but won against the Lions. I get the concern. But, as mentioned in the Kubiak thread, the Bills are exhausted by unexpected travel, snow storms and a lack of practice. I hope they start getting their groove back Thursday.

    They wasted 11 years trying to take shortcuts. GM Tim Murray in particular wasted a deep prospect pool and draft picks on hot garbage. Kevyn Adams doesn't care about droughts and fan impatience. He and Granato are sticking to their plan.

    Someone up thread said after the trade deadline all players are subject to waivers. I assume to prevent just this kind of move. But I don't know

    Hard to believe but that would be something. How would he clear waivers? You'd think Belichick would grab him just to prevent him from joining the Bills.

    I'm in a fantasy duel. Last player. I have Hurts and my opponent has AJ Dillon. I'm up by 4.

    Got to have the Eye of the Tiger to be a champion. Here in NH a 10-seed just beat the undefeated 1-seed in the state final. Had to win 3 straight on the road to make the final. They won them all by shutouts. Then overcame a 14-0 halftime deficit. Kicked a FG with :10 left to win 15-14. They just wouldn't be denied.
