    Well I do know hockey, and no one laughs at the Sabres now. Player development in hockey is different than the NFL. You often draft prospects who are years away from contributing. But not only are the Sabres loaded with budding stars, their pipeline is full as well. And now they have the second coming of goalie Ryan Miller in Devon Levi? Playoffs are coming soon.

    I don't live in WNY anymore but I go back a lot. It's a real shame they don't have weekly outdoor (often free) concerts. That was such a Buffalo summer thing. My first show, and my first joint, was Little Feat at the Albright Knox Rose Garden. My last show was Elvis Costello at Canalside. Except for a couple Outer Harbor shows there's nothing now.

    Up here in northern New England we've been trapped in a nor'easter type of weather system than keeps pumping cool moist air off a chilly Atlantic ocean all month. It's been a disappointing June to say the least.

    Just got an email from TuneIn saying all the Audacy app stations are also available there. WGR used to be on TuneIn before Audacy decided to herd all their stations into their own exclusive app, with all the bells and whistles that rarely worked as promised.
