  1. The play was perfectly designed and executed by the Celtics. They gave the ball to Rondo on the top corner, so the Bulls had to respect the drive. They set a pick for Pierce and he curled right under Allen and into the paint. Then they set a pick for Allen who curled up to the top of the key. It was surprising that Noah didn't jump on the Pierce move and I thought he made and excellent play to get in Allen's face. Allen just made a great shot.
  2. Well if you plan of sticking around here, I would suggest you get used to them...
  3. I was only talking about this series. I haven't ruled out Garnett's return either, but not any time soon.
  4. I believe he is only referring to DJ getting fired as the glass half full, maybe "a silver lining" would have been a better title though....
  5. I got ya, it was a good catch. Actually I had to point it out to my wife as we were watching. She's usually day dreaming or reading a magazine during shows and I have to pause and explain half the sh-t happening. At least she's learned to stop doing that during Bills and Sabres games....
  6. Woooohoooo.....only 4 more days of mock drafts...
  7. Yesterday game was outstanding, more like a Western Conf game. Without Garnett and Powe (torn ACL in yesterdays game, out for remainder of season) and throw in a hobbled Rondo, it's going to be tough. But I still think they can get by the Bulls in 6.
  8. Going back more than 10 years, but Philo and Gunge were my favorites...
  9. I think everyone who watched the show from season one caught that one, it wasn't very subtle... And I agree with you about Chase! He was a bad a$$, i really liked that dude. One of my favorites along with the black agent that Jack shot in the head, don't recall his name...
  10. Now that I think about it more, it explains the last 3 years. The clause is probably in Jauron's contract as well. DJ must get a million dollar bonus for not reaching at least 8 wins in a season.
  11. He's been a miserable SOB lately, he must sit next Sully or something. That would be the minority opinion on this particular Bills board....
  12. 89 catches would warrant a big contract for the following season and an extra Mil in his pocket if the rumor was true...
  13. Printed mine as well...
  14. So he gets to 89 catches, what is his incentive to catch another pass? Does that kind of a clause make any sense at all? C'mon man, you actually posted this?
  15. He's paired with Joanna Krupa....Lucky b@st@rd...
  16. My bad...I was referring to chat rooms or forum discussions, that's what I thought you meant. I think the only repeating character that would know about Richard's non-aging is Ben. Although Locke met him at a very young age, but I don't believe he remembers that encounter. Would make for a good one liner from Ben in a future airing... 1. Was there ever a reference to Halliwax being alive in 2007? I don't recall. But if not, then something might have happened to him before the capabilities of the island were discovered. I think there is a big chunk of that story missing. 2. What was meant by "not being ready to go to the island" because he couldn't answer the riddle? At least he didn't get whacked in the head for not knowing the answer. Also, I thought it was known that Widmore staged the crash? 3. I thought at first that Faraday would not recognize Miles and he would be another non-ager, but he's definitely been bouncing around. And now he's an Ann Arbor scientist? Very interesting. 4. Now that would suck! Bad enough you're on ditch duty... 5. Good points... Sorry for your loss!!
  17. Can't happen, AI has these individuals under contract (at least the top 10, not sure about the others) for something like a year after the competition ends. It's a nice little money maker they've got going...
  18. Just saying that if they were part of the original Dharma project, Ben would have recognized them on the plane. Also, Sayid asked if Ben was the person she was working for and she seemed sincere in not knowing who that was. Anyone in the Dharma initiative in 1977 would have known of Ben. I won't rule out that theory, because she could have been very young. But personally, I don't think that's it.
  19. It's one thing to flex a 1pm Sunday game for an 8pm Sunday game. it's a pain to some that have tickets, but at least it's the same day. but to flex to different days would be terrible, i would hope the NFL would never consider doing this. I thought they would have something preventing such a move, good find!
  20. He also brought him back, so there must of been a good reason for that...
  21. But wouldn't they have be there in '77?
  22. Actually, everyone asks that question. It has been discussed many times, but it has yet to be answered. Even when they showed him off the island he doesn't age, I can't even venture a guess at this one.
  23. Nice review Mr. Adams. Here's my 2 cents... Anoop--I think he did enough to stick around for another week. The song was boring, but he really sang it well. Adam--I thought he was a little over the top. When I heard the song he singing, I thought it could be a train wreck. But he did a decent job, although it was not one of his better weeks. Lil--She is not really listening to the judges or she is misunderstanding them. That was a pretty bad performance and I think she'll be in the bottom tonight. Kris--I liked it. It's a really good song, but not too well known and he sang it well. Allison--Wasn't impressed, but she did a decent job. I don't think Simon went out on a limb stating that she was the girls only chance. Danny--With his raspy voice he should be doing a Bob Seger, Gregg Almann, or some kind of southern rock song or something and pick up the pace. I think he could bring down the house with something like that. But the dude is putting me to sleep lately. Matt--He's was good, but the song sucked. Bottom 3...Lil, Matt, and Anoop...Matt gets lowest number of votes, but judges use the save...
  24. If it were only that easy. The areas in question is off the coast of Solamia and Kenya which spans something like 1.1 million square miles. There just aren't enough resources currently available in that area to effectively thwart these attacks and there never will be. Also, it doesn't help when some gov't officials can be bribed. I read somewhere that pirate gangs have established relations with corrupt officials of some government officials along the coast. They bribe port officials to allow the pirates to use their ports, then they bring some of their captured ships in for safekeeping while the pirates negotiate ransoms with the ships' owners. Unfortunately the solution is not as easy as blocking ports. And I really don't believe it can be stopped, but hopefully there will be solutions to limit the activity.
  25. Blus/White game this Saturday. Supposed to be a nice sunny day, I'll be there...!
