A few observations: I think most believed that being touched by Jacob would give them special powers or immortality on the island, but not off as Locke was killed off the island, but it was finally confirmed. Although Sayid "died", so that's an interesting twist. And we found out that Richard could die on the island, but not by his own hand. Reminds me of Michael trying to commit suicide off the island, but couldn't. I think Jacob's plan worked with Jack. Jack now believes he has a role on this island and he is indeed there for a reason. Richard saying not to trust Jacob was interesting, We should be finding out more of that back story soon. Illana has a rocking body! Needs to shed some clothes though... Also, Illana could be like Richard and appear not to age. She did claim that Jacob was like a father to her, so she obviously has known him for a long time. The Richard and Blackrock connection would explain Flocke's comment about getting out of his chains. He must have come to the island in chains and maybe was freed by Jacob or something. Ben's father talking about the island brings up the question, was the island sunk by jughead or some other means? I think it's the latter, I never believed the bomb sunk the island. I think it's more feasible that they hit the magnetic pocket while drilling or something. That would mean that he plane never crashed, although Juliet mentioning "it worked" to Sawyer definitely has me doubting myself. But when the submarine was evacuating people, Ben was shot so they could not have left the island immediately prior to the incident since Ben was at the Temple recuperating, So if the bomb sunk the island, how did they get off of it? Final thought...I had a feeling of déjà vu when watching the slow motion seen at the beach. Didn't they do that in a previous episode? I want to say it was almost exactly the same, but I would have to re-watch it. does anyone remember what season and episode that was?

#35 must have been a lost bet...Classic...

I believe when Flocke took the white rock of the balance and threw it into the ocean, it confirmed the suspicion that Flocke was on the "evil" side. But I guess you never truly know with this show. Also, why would they br recruiting people to be the new Jacob/MIB? Are they retiring or something? They are looking for a candidate, whatever that means, but not necessarily someone to take their place...

Add that to the FA signings and it's really no mystery, at least I never thought so...

Damn..Corvo to Washington...

He was on tsn today, he said Burke will come to him with any offers and he will decide whether or not to waive the clause.

yep, that makes room for Raffi. I still believe the Sabres need a physical defenseman...

19 goals 12 assists, good size, 6'0 223. Should be a nice role player. now they have an extra forward to deal for a defensemen, Stafford may be next, hopefully for Corvo...

Watched that last night, very cool by the Penguins fans. Thought it was odd, even though Crosby is a Penguin, that they showed Canada's game winning goal. Some of the crowd booing, some were like wooo that's our player,. but Canada still sucks. The ovation for Miller was much louder along with the USA chants. I have believe the Pens brass is re-thinking that decision...

(LAMP) Just started week 2 of P90X
ricojes replied to WVUFootball29's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You are not alone. I didn't even count the first week, because I barely made it through some of the video's. Yoga is an absolute killer, may be the hardest video in the series. I actually substitute Cardio X for Yoga at times, but that's more of a time thing, since the Yoga is an hour and a half. But it's important to track your progress, trust me, you will continue to increase reps and weight. The recovery week really helps. The week after recovery I felt stronger and actually did more reps, so the program is set up for success. Most of the challenge is mental, because if you continue with the program, they physical side will come along eventually. But it varies for everyone as to when you really start to see progress. Stick with it! -
(LAMP) Just started week 2 of P90X
ricojes replied to WVUFootball29's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I'm 2 months into the program, just starting the recovery week 8, and the workouts just don't get any easier. I haven't been following a strict diet though, although trying to watch what I eat, probably why I have only lost 7 pounds so far. But I have definitely got stronger and starting to see some definition. I started playing basketball again and I am quicker and jumping higher than I had in years, mostly due to the Plyometrics routine. It will probably be more like the P180X before I get to where I want to be, but I know if I continue with this program I will get there... -
Mad props to the USA Hockey team! They were not even expected to medal and they go 1-1 against the heavily favored Canadians on their home turf, playing their national sport. Just amazing and as much fun I've had watching hockey in a long time. When's the deciding game 3? I want to watch another. Winning against the Canadians was incredible, even if they lost the one that mattered. Kind of sucks it was more of a flukey turn and fire shot, but that's OT hockey. Still the US has nothing to hang their heads about. It's the equivalent of the Canadian baseball team beating the USA in Yankee Stadium, but then lost in extra innings of the gold game, there's just no way it should happen. I am very proud of the boys.....

The switch to 3-4 are we set at LB?
ricojes replied to Thirty Year Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Read the article posted above your post... From today's Buffalo News: "Gailey said the Bills will switch starter Chris Kelsay from defensive end to outside linebacker. Second-year man Aaron Maybin and third-year man Chris Ellis will make that switch as well. So will Aaron Schobel, if he does not retire." Although I am more inclined to agree with you... -
NBC Change for Friday's Olympic Hockey Broadcast
ricojes replied to yungmack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, that would really suck if they had to play at 6am Vancouver time... -
Welcome to the board Jason, no thanks, but good luck with your job hunt...

The quotes from an article in today's Buffalo News certainly would back #1...

What about the defensive line? You already mentioned Maybin moving, but Ellis, Schobel (should he return), and Kelsay are all OLB's in a 3-4 defense... -
The Official Canada Olympic Hockey Thread

It's a cowards reaction to fear an opponent who gave you a previous smack down. I on the other hand am rooting for a USA - Canada rematch, that was a fun game to watch... -
Right, but then he had a string a bad luck and wished he never won it and believed those numbers were cursed. But now everything appears to be perfect in his life...
