  1. This should be an instructive on how the media is organized and operates. They allowed no story besides this to exist for the Bills until they had destroyed their target.
  2. Bayless has aged like 10 years in the last week. Edit:
  3. Who's trading anything for an Achilles rehab who was JAG before the injury?
  4. Do you mean Bernard or Williams? Bernard I never saw it, but gave him the benefit and for the most part he showed what we thought he'd show: too small/slow, and probably a reach. Had the one lucky touchdown in preseason but for the most part got his butt kicked by 2's and 3's and Spector outplayed him by a fair bit. College tape and measurables seem a bit better for Williams but I'll wait for preseason to see what he does in comparison to make a judgement. After year one Barnard looked to be a whiff to us and you'd have to guess the Bills, or there wouldn't be the need to grab Williams R3.
  5. Kingsley Jonathan was Von Lite in preseason last year, his speed move could not be handled by 2's. He's super bendy, he could have a legit shot to stick. Would solve a lot of defensive problems if he and Spector stepped it up this year.
  6. Did you catch either of Moses Malone's games?
  7. A few of us have Gar Heard of him
  8. From Brugler on the Athletic (if you don't get it, come on, be an Athletic Supporter) Day 3 pick who could surprise: Nick Broeker, G, Ole Miss A good value pick in the seventh round, Broeker is a strong, assignment-sound player. He might not have the explosiveness or knock-back power desired at the position, but when his technique and leverage remain on the same page, Broeker stays attached and loses slowly. He has experience outside at left tackle but projects as immediate depth at guard. He is a great fit for the Bills’ scheme.
  9. These guys need a nickname... how about the "Sh.. List"?
  10. As long as his dream isn't also breaking his QB's leg.
  11. Spector looked there were 3 of him on the field at times last preseason. He's still kind of an afterthough because of not getting a sniff in the regular season, but he was a definite factor against 2's and 3's last August. If he takes a step, he might get a look.
  12. Before William Hung... the original Idol was a lady known as Mrs Miller.
  13. As far as places out west go, Victor Idaho is one of them. At least there's Grand Teton Brewery and a road that takes you to Broulim's. He could just stand there and be better than Beasley...
  14. Most prefer a TR Tight Receiver.
  15. I mean, I get what he said. In this league coordinators will adjust when they are given a reason to adjust. Until then, show me. Like when Cornelius Bennett played his first game. Oh, a rookie. Yeah, we'll just put our tight end or tackle on you, that should do it. Lasted about 4 snaps until Denver figured out they had to double him.
  16. It's funny but what was most talked about for Edmunds was never how many plays he made, but how many plays he "prevented" by being so big and long and stuff that they didn't even attempt to make a throw. To which I always responded, 1) you really can't disprove a negative can you? and 2) did anyone ever watch a KC tape where Mahomes moves Edmunds all over the field with his eyes, like a cat with a laser pointer, opening up the throws to Kelce all game long. If the goal is to defend KC I don't think Edmunds was ever going to be the answer and I'm willing to see if someone - anyone - is.
  17. The problem is who they hired to perform the pain-tolerance test on his ankles.
  18. Is that setting the "happy wife countdown timer"?
  19. I think I'd be fine with Mark Andrews production from that position.
  20. Not to pick nits, but "Utahite" is a mineral, a residentr of Utah is a "Utahn." That always stuck with me because it just looks and sounds weird. Heartening to hear about how disappointed everyone who is not a Bills fan is in the Bills making Kincaid the pick at 25OA.
  21. I'd love if Dorian becomes a player who plays like Edmunds minus the roller skates. And who disengages from blocks. And doesn't arm tackle. And catches the damn ball. And makes impact plays. That would be a terrific player.
  22. Looks a little grabby to me in the highlights, which is fine when they don't call it.
