  1. Here we go. Here's the typical "it's just the pre-season crowd". The same crowd that last year said, we're only 0-1, it's not the end of the world. It's only 2 games. 0-2 is nothing. Then 0-3 came, but we still have hope. 0-4, now it's time to get pissed. Then, turn around an get all excited because we dominated a pathetic schedule in the 2nd half of the season, only to finish 9-7 and out of the playoffs BY ONE GAME. Every game matters. Especially when they have a young QB. If they weren't trying to win like some of you morons think, JP wouldn't be so pissed off afterwards that they go nothing done. It is only pre-season, but you'd be a fool if you weren't worried a little about the offense. The line has looked below average. JP hasn't really done anything yet to wow anyone. The RB's haven't looked all that great either. Not bad, but not great. Lastly, this is the first decent defense we've played this year. And they stifled us, in a game that all the regulars were supposed to assert themselves. It didn't happen. Little bit troubling. We'll see though, because it is somewhat true, it's only pre-season! Oh, and I don't give a DAMN that JP is only essentially a rookie. He's our QB on a VETERAN team that is pretty solid. Our QB, needs to get it done, because with contracts up, this team won't be the same as he gets "seasoned" 2 or 3 years from now.
  2. AWESOME FIND. How in the hell did you know about this station. What a great find!
  3. LOL, not only that, it's the same people who say "relax, it's only the opener." "Relax, it's only the first two games." Then at the end of year, everyone realizes that "it's only the first few games" are the one's that cost the team a trip to the playoffs when you finish 9-7. I HATE when people say that crap. And yes, it's just pre-season, but don't tell me they go out there trying to look bad.
  4. I'm finishing up at work now, and when I read your post, I said it just like a referee sounds with the mic on. What a retard I am. And my whole office thinks I'm a tard now too. Oh well, fugg em. God, I need opening day weekend bad.....real bad!
  5. Hopefully JP has a very good year for essentially a rookie QB. However, for the first season, I don't think we'll lose much at all if Holcomb has to step in. So, if JP goes down, I'm not real worried about a drop in QB play!
  6. I got what you are saying the first time, before reading the replies. When I saw BJH's post about Bledsoe, I thought THE EXACT SAME THING. Rettata = Bledsoe Great Post! LMAO
  7. Now he's an unblockable demon? LOL Are you kidding me? So, the guy has no position, yet he's an unblockable demon. So, why with being "an unblockable demon", and so gifted physically, isn't he converted to a DE?
  8. I don't get this. What's all the fascination with Peters? He didn't look all that great to me. He's a project, and as far as that goes, he's ok. However, he couldn't make it as a TE, and he's not good enough to crack a line spot, in which we got someone else's castoff in Gandy. I would imagine a former skill player would look more athletic than the rest of the lineman. But how athletic is he, when we needed TE's but yet, he couldn't play TE? I mean seriously, do you guys by into the hype that much? If you never watched the Bills, but only read this board, you'd think Peters was Orlando Pace. My vote is #3. Alot of people here seem to believe the Bills propoganda machine when it gets rolling during slow news periods. I don't get it.
  9. PTR, I'm not saying one way or the other whether WGR is good or not......but for someone who hates it so much, you sure do tune in alot!
  10. Big Ben regressed after he got hurt. Period.
  11. Damn, that's still 9 days. I thought one would be sooner than that. Where are we now.....like 80 plus?
  12. I agree 100%. The only negative I took out of the game at all was our o-line. I don't think they blocked very well at all both for the run and the pass. The RB's had little room, except for efforts they made on their own, and the QB's didn't exactly get to sit there in the pocket. We have a good team. Our line, IMO, is slightly below average at this point,.
  13. Hey J......was that guy who puked a Season Ticket Holder??? I mean, usually we have a good section......that's all I need is some drunk puker there every game. Did you recognize him???
  14. The security at that Ravens - Bills game was impressive. And it barely slowed anyone down. Out of all the stadiums I've been to, RWS is the worst in terms of security. And being so close to the Canadian border, I'm not sure I totally understand the lackthereof. I'm not against tightening it up at all......and something along the lines of what the Ravens do would be good I think. RWS is the most slack in terms of security, and sometimes when you see what other teams do, it's troubling a little bit. Just my 2 cents.
  15. Thanks Eryn! You at least gave me cause to thank you so I could "bump" er up one more time. See ya there JayG!!!
  16. Please tell me you are kidding. I seriously quit. THE GAME WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER. Done. No chance for other "less quality" Bills players to make MORE errors. The so called "Best CB" in the league made it possible for some others to mess up. Some of you people on a coaching staff would be laughable. Nate Clements makes his living playing football. He owrks at it all year. He goes to mini-camps. Training camps. He's a veteran. He made one of most idiotic plays of the year. He should have known better than to try to intercept that ball. He was one on one. He lost, BECAUSE OF STUPIDITY. It wasn't a physical error, but rather a mental one. One that I would think wouldnt happen to a self proclaimed best CB in the league. And if it was a physical error, than he doesn't deserve "best CB in the league money." Unreal. IT WAS A MAJOR MISTAKE. Undefendable.
  17. Ummmmmmmm, maybe we don't have one. Maybe no team has one. Ask Denver how much throwing all that money at Champ Bailey worked out. After all, he was their "shut down corner" every time they played Indy.
  18. Amazing, what good record keeping proves. And it was man vs. man.....and grandfather time, Jimmy Smith whipped our "Shut Down CB's" ass. And all he had to do was KNOCK IT DOWN.
  19. Makes sense. But I'll put it this way.....I would have given the Eagles Bobby Taylor and Troy Vincent, AND the two CB's they had as starters and they wouldn't have beaten the Pats. TV and BT aren't that good anymore. Hell, Troy Brown was covering people last year. Should show you that CB's can be found anywhere. Not that there aren't good or great CB's....but they just don't make a difference enough to warrant huge money. You can't name one that is. Start with Champ Bailey and work backward. Can't name one. MAYBE Ty Law.....maybe. But I'd put that more on Bill Belicheck than Ty Law. Especially when Troy Brown was picking off passes last year.
  20. Anyone who knows how to read a boxscore knows of how bad a play that is.
  21. Yes, I thought so......just a ridiculous, stupid play, by, in his own words...."The Best CB in the league". Yeah OK Nate, you keep telling yourself that, apparently some people believe you. WORST and MOST COSTLY play of the year. EASILY. Doesn't mean I don't think he is a damn good corner, but he's not the best, and no where near worth the best money. No CB is right now. 4th and Long, at home, shut down CB, vs 125 year old Jimmy Smith with the game on the line......and WE LOSE the battle on a jump ball.
