  1. This is how I view Mike Williams 100%. But for people to rip Bryant McKinnie just because Williams is becoming a stiff is pure horseshit. Just because we chose the wrong one of the two. McKinnie seems, by most people around the league, to be fitting in well.....so well, he might just see the pro bowl soon. I just don't see why some people have to insist on tearing down McKinnie, when he is clearly more valuable at this point.
  2. As opposed to say the Bills who can't even stay competitive with say the Saints, because they are road games. I seem to remember the Vikings being as about as putrid as the Bills at one point this season. But let's see, one team is seeming to be getting better, ON THE ROAD even, and one team is a joke on the road. Yeah, to me, the Vikings are getting better, because they were the fuggin Lions and Packers about 4 weeks ago. They aren't bad lately with Brad Johnson at QB. I don't give a sh-- who it's against. And the fact that their offense is starting to click ON THE ROAD, is good enough for me. Again, another internet wannabe who types well. Of course though, in Alaska, I hear the 6 on 6 football is played well.......maybe that's what makes you....an expert on good one liners......I mean football.
  3. Mike Williams didn't DOMINATE last year. Mike Williams wasn't GREAT last year. He was serviceable. Dominators and great players are all pro's. Mike Williams is never even considered in the same breath with all pro's OR guys being considered all pros. And if Big Mike was so good this season after DOMINATING last season, why the hell would they switch his offensive line position this year? He may be hurt, anyone can concede that, but there's no way an NFL team switches a DOMINATING, and GREAT offensive tackle to another spot on a line, so he can dominate and be great at a less demanding line spot. Wake up. After all the ass-sucking McNally worshippers, I can't imagine God McNally moving Big Mike to another spot because he's been so "dominating".
  4. I'm also thinking its pretty much the Kool-Aid crowd who thought MW was dominating last year as well as this year. The Bills as a whole pretty much dominated the high school teams we played in the 2nd half of the season last year. I don't know anyone, outside of the same crowd of fans who always think every Bills player dominates, that thought MW was dominating this year before his injury. The lack of insight into this team, and analyzation of who we actually beat last year has us in our position that we are in now. Mike Williams never dominated anyone of any stature in the league. He might have had a moment or two here and there, but he never has dominated. But hell, everyone in this league has had moments. If TD would have realized that we haven't had a great win in his five years here, including last years run, he would have realized that we were good enough to beat all medicore teams but we need players to make the next step. Instead, he acutally drank his own Kool-Aid, and stood put, and even subtracted players, and now we even suck worse. I also think that the ankle injury to Williams has hurt him much more than people are letting on. I don't think however, that he is even anything approaching Bryant McKinnie at this point. The Vikes have no inkling or thought of anyone being their LT as long as McKinnie is under contract. That's enough to top the MW pick right there.
  5. How dare you post something intelligent about McKinnie. It's only a matter of time before the RAH RAH, Bills can do no wrong crowd, tries to rip this thing apart. Nice post, not that it matters here though. At least with the direction of the team now, the people who continue to refute stuff like this look more and more like idiots. Thanks for the sanity, I'll buy you a cold one at a game sometime!
  6. God, I can't stand you. Not that it matters, but this has to win the stupidest post ever, hands down, award. Seriously, this boggles my mind how ignorant you are toward people. If no one agrees with you and your Kool-Aid approach, all you do is attack their "crusade". So, let me get this straight.....we have one of the WORST lines in the NFL. Mike Williams can't start on that line. However, this is your brilliant quote...... "As disappointing as Mike Williams has been, even he hasn't looked as awful as McKinnie has most of the times I've seen him." But yet, McKinnie is a starter at the most demanding position on his team's line, that is seeing its offense improve more and more every week. Yet, Mckinnie , according to your brilliance" is not only awful, but he's worse than Mike Williams, "most of the times". Are you seriously that far stuck up everyone at OBD's ass, or are you seriously that ignorant? You don't even have to think McKinnie is that good. But, there is no comparison between the two at this point in their careers. Seriously, for as much as you rip on people, you are a true moron. You are a hateful, arrogant, moron. Seriously Simon, wake up. Of course, this is coming from the same guy that insists we are only a player or two away from being dominant or whatever drivel you like to spew from time to time. I would do ANYTHING, to compete on a field of play against you. ANYTHING.
  7. Come on man. It's amazing how one win at home can cloud everyone's mind. The Bills on the road.....against a team off of a bye......on the west coast. That spells disaster. Now, add in that the Bills are pathetic on the road under TD / MM / and GW period. This includes losing records against teams under .500, over .500, you name it. This is true this year, last year etc...... So, what's going to change? This is going to be the best team we've played this year by far. SD has played a horrid schedule, and now that they've hit a soft spot vs. us at home, there's no way they overlook this game. It's not going to change because we actually beat a mediocre team at home. Let's just hope JP continues to mature and continues to progress in a tough road environment. That would be a major plus for the Bills instead of worrying about us winning the AFC East at 7-9.
  8. I know what you mean. He's 5th in rushing. 17th in yards per carry. But, the telling stat for his speed (or lackthereof) is that he is 28th in the league in longest runs from scrimmage this year at a 27 yard long. There are 27 starting RB's that have ripped off longer run gains than him. And even though our line sucks, that indicates big play potential. Even behind a bad line, RB's can make a play here or there on their own. Willis doesn't seem to have the burst necessary to do that. He's also not much of a threat receiving. This isn't a popular opinion on a mostly homer board, but Willis isn't the elite back people with blinders on claim he is. He is, however, pretty damn good, but I sure hope TD doesn't overpay to keep him. But, in our favor is that Willis may not be fully recovered from the injury like some experts claim. If that is the case, he does have potentional to reach elite status. Let's hope he still has some room to improve.
  9. I smell tease of the year next week......both cases will show classic symptons..... Our beloved Buffalo Bills on the road.....out to the west coast......vs. San Diego off of a bye...... Coupled with... Our AFC East rival NY Jets on the road.....out to the west coast (basically)....vs. Denver...... The early lines..... Buffalo +9 1/2 and the NY Jets +12 1/2 Tease of the Year...... San Diego - 2 1/2 along with Denver - 5 1/2 Bet the house on it!!!!
  10. I thought so. It seemed like early on in the game, the Chiefs were running a lot of stunts that were sending outside guys right back in a loop and over the G/C area where Big Mike was. Then after two of them, Big Mike was history. I was wondering.....maybe someone heard something in postgame comments?
  11. Was he?....it seemed alot of early KC stunts were killing the middle area of the line. Was Big Mike benched because of this? Just curious. Anyone know?
  12. LOL, don't worry, hopefully my tickets will knock a little sense into ya, and we'll get back to being a respectable football team again. Enjoy the game!
  13. best lineman, and dominates in the years to come (In fact, he becomes easily our best OL'man), would he be considered a failure at his current salary because he is a guard? I have no motives here, I'm just wondering what people would think. Remember, it's a hypothetical, which we all hope would happen.
  14. Save it E, some people here just don't get that. It's amazing how low their expectations are set. It's apparent to most football fans that TD is a failure in Buffalo. Seriously, convincing homers of that is about impossible. I have to laugh when they point out the good things TD has done. Here's a friggin newsflash.....what fuggin NFL team HASN'T drafted or made some good moves? The logic and mindset of that is unreal. Hell, the Pittsburgh Pirates in major league baseball have had 13 years of losing seasons in a row. They have still drafted and developed some studs, even though they suck. So has TD. His failures to address other areas adequately enough, outside of his good picks are what is killing us. He has no idea how to put a complete product on the field. But hey, he sells tickets and jerseys! We are in some select, bad company, when you look at who HAS NOT been to the playoffs in the last five years under their GM. Oh, how far we've fallen. But hey, cut TD some slack, after all, it's nice being known and compared to expansion teams and the New Orleans Saints. Welcome to the Tom Donahoe era of Buffalo Bills football.
  15. LMAO.....and while I like Sully for firing back at TD's little chirade of passing out PFW in a media session.....this is priceless. LMAO You need to attach this article and email it to Sullivan. I agree 100% about what Sully said today, HOWEVER, he shouldn't have been the one to write it! Email this to Sullivan and see what he has to say!
  16. Bingo! And yet, Sullivan is a dickhead for doing his job, but Tom Donahoe (a failure as a GM) isn't a dickhead for circulating PFW around that media day. I give Sullivan credit for having some pride on challenging a smug-ass GM, who has done nothing while in Buffalo, and throwing back in his face what TD himself started with the PFW chirade. The more that comes out about Donahoe, they more you can see he's full of himself. Looks like his reputation coming our of PIttsburgh is well deserved. Now, and thank god, but still......now, you have a NFL offensive co-ordinator for a NFL team that applies for a job at TEMPLE for christs sakes. Think all is well under the Tom Donahow reign? Think again. FIFTH YEAR, and nothing to show for it.
  17. OK, I agree to an extent. So, if I add numbers from the three previous years, it gets even worse than this. So, what does that tell us about the GM after 5 years?
  18. Regarding Mularkey....How bout these numbers, what kind of reputation does this kind of record get you? 24 Games of Data Overall Vs. teams under .500 (8-3) Vs. teams at .500 (2-1) Vs. teams over .500 (2-8) Best win vs. 10-6 NY Jets (home) On the road...... Vs. teams under .500 (2-3) Worst Loss vs. 5-11 Oakland Vs. teams at .500 (1-1) Vs. teams over .500 (1-4) Best win vs. 9-7 Seattle At home..... Vs. teams under .500 (6-0) N/A Vs. teams at .500 (1-0) Vs. teams over .500 (1-4) Best win vs. 10-6 NY Jets
  19. Let's hope he gets the job. Do you think Clements would take Donahoe with him to be the AD at Temple? We can only hope.
  20. Drew Rosenhaus. Seriously, there is a battle coming to Buffalo with McGahee. Take it to the bank. This crap on TV today, about Owens, is completely unreal. Get ready, it's coming. It's all about Drew. Completely. This guy is a total dickhead. His client is getting exactly what he deserves. Let's hope the Eagles have the stones to stick with it. PLEASE stick to it Philadelphia. Seeing Rosenhaus squirm is about as fun as seeing Donald Fehr squirm in front of congress.
  21. I can't wait to tease this baby up to the Chiefs at 9 1/2, and Carolina down to 1 vs. the Jets at home. I might bet my savings on this.
  22. Awesome, now this gives some hope at least. Maybe they are willing to admit their mistakes. Anything on JP yet, or do we still think we're gonna win the division?
  23. Who gives a damn about Bennie Anderson.....what about the whole team he has signed.....how exactly have they fared since Ole Tommy Boy has taken over.....oh, that's right........no playoff berths. Anderson is just one in a glut of failures under the Donahoe watch. Amazing how many people accept this crap team we have. Oh how far we've fallen as a franchise.
