I would recommend getting fitted. The problem that you are going to run into is that most of the big companies are increasing the length of the stock shafts to 45.5 inches or 46 inches (On the new TM Burner). Whilde this might equal a few more yards, it makes the club much harder to control. Your best bet would be to find a higher lofted driver (Think 11 or 12 degrees) with a shaft that is cut down to 44 inches.

What a novel concept - too bad our elected officials would do anything that amounts to good P.R. than actually do something meaningful, like adjust the tax brackets to give those making minimum wage more purchasing power while keeping the cost of goods down.

Not to mention the ethanol industry. Corn costs more, which has driven up the price of beef, chiclken, pork, and milk. Also, since farmers are getting more money for con than for other crops, they are grpwing less wheat, barley, soy, etc. All this thanks to the magical fuel known as ethanol.

You are correct about the ethanol blends. I have filled my tank at Hess and Sunoco, bot of which use ethanol blends, and have noticed a decrease of approxiamtely 30 to 40 miles per full tank. I am not sure if Exxon utilizes an Ethanol blend, but I have noticed that I get better mileage. BTW, I have always gotten better mileage with the summer blend. Ethanol sucks and not to politicize this thread, but the Corn growers and the Ethanol industry have Obama in their back pocket. If he is elected, we can expect to have crappier gas and more expensive groceries.

You are probably getting better gas mileage because the gasoline blend that the suppliers use in the summer is different (and better) than the crap the sell us in the winter. I believe that they actually change the blend a few times per year.

I disagree. Have you noticed that the cable companies are now offering movies on demand at the same time they are being released on DVDs? (which was always the problem with ondemand, you had to wait too long). As providers continue to increase their bandwith and offer more movie choices, Netflix will find it difficult to compete.
