  1. Who paid their hospital bills?
  2. Check out this whack-job at RIT. Not one, but two assault rifles. http://www.rochesterdandc.com/apps/pbcs.dl...EWS01/704180340
  3. He isn't very mobile. He probably compares to a bigger, more accurate Byron Leftwich.
  4. Did you see the picture of Marshawn Lynch? He looks like a psycho killer.
  5. From NFL.com Positives: Has a thick frame with good upper body muscle development, tight waist and hips, good bubble, muscular thighs and calves and minimal body fat … Could add another 10 pounds to his frame without the additional bulk impacting his outstanding quickness … Has the foot speed to come out of his stance and through the holes with good explosion, showing good balance and flexibility … More of a straight-line runner, but builds to top acceleration nicely … Combines good strength with that speed to effectively push the pile, but lacks vision choosing a rush lane (has the burst to bounce, but lacks the quick change-of-direction agility) … Needs to be more patient waiting for his blocks to develop, but has the power to generate movement running between the tackles … Can break tackles on contact with his leg drive, but needs to keep his pads down in order to have success there … Has the acceleration to get the most out of his speed moves working up field … Has decent balance after contact to keep his feet and makes positive yards, but only when he runs behind his pads with proper body lean through the line of scrimmage … Shows strength at the goal line, and while he appears to gather in his cuts, he has the second gear to take the ball long distances … Shows good ball security attacking the holes and has the strength to consistently push the pile … Has the agility to adjust in his pass routes, but needs to refine his route-running ability … Has the body control to take a seam to gain extra yardage … Shows good avoidance skills running between the tackles and does a good job of squaring his shoulders to break arm tackles … While his route running is marginal, he does extend well for the ball outside his frame and appears to have natural hands. Negatives: Has a lot of growing up to do off the field and needs quite a bit of prodding from coaches in practice to stay focused (suspended for one game in 2006) … Better athlete than football player, as he lacks field vision and will at times make poor decisions attacking the rush lanes … Has excellent speed, but it is usually negated as he is too impatient waiting for blocks to develop … Must show better pick-and-slide agility and must do a better job of locating rush lanes (in 165 carries in 2006, he was tackled for a loss 32 times and had 17 others runs that saw him taken down at the line of scrimmage) … Shows inconsistencies coming off the snap, as he seems to lack that feel for the crease and will run into spots rather than try to bounce out and avoid … Even though he has great speed for a player of his size, he rarely displays fluid hip swerve or change-of-direction agility to run away from defenders after the initial hit (marginal pick-and-slide runner) … When he gets too tall in his stance attacking the holes, defenders attack his body often and have had good success in pushing him back … Not much of a creative open-field runner and will gather to cut … Has good hands but poor route-running ability, struggling to get his head turned around to track the ball in (used strictly on dump-offs and as the hot receiver only) … While he might align and position himself when blocking in pass protection, he needs to maintain focus on the job at hand (makes only passive attempts to sustain blocks) … Needs to slide his feet and use his hands better when asked to pick up the blitz and protect the pocket … Even though he has the size of a fullback, he lacks the ability (or desire) and technique to be considered an effective lead blocker. Compares To: Michael Bennett, Kansas City Chiefs … The Scouting Combine "darling" after his impressive workout, one needs to realize that Henry was hailed more for his track exploits coming out of high school than his ability on the football field … Sure, some team will draft him higher than his stock dictates due to his quickness, but speed wasn't enough to turn Bennett into an NFL star due to a lack of field instincts, impatience waiting for blocks to develop and inconsistent pad level … Others might disagree, but based on his production, or lack of, and less than stellar approach to his benching in 2006, we can't see Henry being labeled anything more than a workout warrior at this time.
  6. I was waiting for someone to say that. I watched all of two minutes of MSNBC last night, and typically watch GMA when I am getting ready in the morning, regardless. However, after noticing that every media whore was not just covering, but reporting live, I went to Mike and Mike in the morning.
  7. All of the major networks were broadcasting their moring shows live from the campus. Do you think that the News chiefs slap each other high fives when something tragic like this happens? "Get the Today show team to Blacksburg...Stat, send Roker too! We can exploit every poor kid that we can on this campus, especially the students that were in the classrooms. Try and find one that was shot...MOVE PEOPLE!" I flipped to MSNBC after the Sabres, they were actually interviewing two kids last night, one with his arm in a sling that had been shot. These poor kids were still in shock. After about 5 minutes I had to change the channel, makes me sick. Also, did anyone see Diane Sawyer's interview with the President of VT, basically putting the guy on trial for not locking down 26,000 students after an apparent murder suicide? I have lost all respect for her.

  9. Out of curiosity, has anyone compared Mel Kiper's mock drafts to how the subsequent drafts actually unfold? We know that ESPN would rather shove the same "crappy" talent down our throats then give airtime to more deserving experts, and Kiper is a huge douche. He is the same guy that predicited that the Pats could be the first 0-16 team in NFL history, the same year they won their first SB.
  10. Initial reports were 1 dead and several wounded. This is just absolutely terrible.
  11. It has been awesome. Probably the best in a few seasons.
  12. Unfortunately, in this case, the prosecutor was elected and not hired. Elected by the same people that wanted to see these kids hang because they are "privlaged". The only shot these kids have is if Duke foots the bill, since it is not possible to sue a public office. I do think that there should be an expection here, as it became apparent that Nifong was acting in his own best interest, that his negligence be deemed malicious intent.
  13. "Hippies impair progress...story at 11:00". This is as bad as that idiot that wants to blck the new skyscraper because it is too high.
  14. 58 - in honor of Shane Conlan.
  15. This sets an important precedent. The media would have hammered the Titans if they did not cut him, even though 20 other teams would have been waiting to sign him. Anyone want to take any bets as to how many times Pacman is arrested now that he isn't "preoccupied" by football.
  16. Probably Hargrove. He would probably be the most fun out at the bars.
  17. Whenever I create myself, I am a 100 in everything. Devin Hester ain't got sh-- on me.
  18. I like the new Chargers unis. I think that they did a nice job with them... as opposed to the abortions that we have to wear to away games.
  19. Damn it. I need to do a better job telling time. And I hear that is not all he eats.

  21. Who hasn't thought about mixing the remains of a loved one with some blow and having a good time?! http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070403/ap_en_...7dAl1cY8aQDW7oF LONDON - Keith Richards has acknowledged consuming a raft of illegal substances in his time, but this may top them all. In comments published Tuesday, the 63-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist said he had snorted his father's ashes mixed with cocaine. "The strangest thing I've tried to snort? My father. I snorted my father," Richards was quoted as saying by British music magazine NME. "He was cremated and I couldn't resist grinding him up with a little bit of blow. My dad wouldn't have cared," he said. "... It went down pretty well, and I'm still alive." Richards' father, Bert, died in 2002, at 84. Richards, one of rock's legendary wild men, told the magazine that his survival was the result of luck, and advised young musicians against trying to emulate him. "I did it because that was the way I did it. Now people think it's a way of life," he was quoted as saying. "I've no pretensions about immortality," he added. "I'm the same as everyone ... just kind of lucky. "I was No. 1 on the `who's likely to die' list for 10 years. I mean, I was really disappointed when I fell off the list," Richards said.
  22. Is there anything dumber than someone on an internet message board creating secret a identity and using it to tell unfunny stories and stupid anecdotes.
  23. Hey, who the hell deleted my Chris Hansen post....seriously.
  24. We traded away a starting RB for two 3rd round picks. It is hard to justify trading anything higher than that for a backup.
  25. You will hopefully be making your last post....ever.
