  1. Andy Reid special! Who could have ever seen this coming.
  2. Dion is talking out of school. why would he do that.
  3. Yes. the strength of the team staying the strength is very important.
  4. He is a good holder. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the place kicking.
  5. Not a single reason to put a guy like this on the bills and especially at this moment in time.
  6. I think you are misunderstanding. I am saying it sounds like Seattle didn't want to trade metcalf and were going to keep him and maybe extend him but he must have wanted to leave or they were not willing to discuss an extension yet after they talked.
  7. fwiw i was just in the car listening to Bryan Broaddus who is a personal friend of Seahawks GM John Schneider (they were in the scouting department together in GB in the 90s) he said he talked to him last week and he had no plans of trading Metcalf. So that is interesting as metcalf is now asking for one.
  8. Him requesting a trade basically tanks the cost for seattle. now I would offer them one of the 2's and thats it.
  9. Average speed? He just ran a 4.29 forty!
  10. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/darius-slayton-expects-a-lot-of-interest-in-free-agency Wide receiver Darius Slayton knows what kind of team he wants to land with in free agency. Slayton told Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News that he “somewhere where they’re striving to be competitive and that the goal is to win” after spending the last six years doing a lot more losing than winning as a member of the Giants. The Giants come into the season with a lot of urgency to win after sticking with head coach Brian Daboll and General Manager Joe Schoen, but Slayton didn’t make it sound like staying put is in the cards. Slayton believes there will be plenty of other suitors because his speed gives him a “niche” that’s appealing to teams around the league. “When you look at that, my ability to stretch the field becomes more valuable because that leads to shorter drives, one-play touchdowns,” Slayton said. “You need chunk plays to score in this league. We know we have a lot of interest out there. And when free agency opens up, we’ll have a lot of different conversations to have with a lot of different people.” Slayton is No. 50 on PFT’s list of the top free agents and he should come off the board quickly if there’s as much interest in his services as he expects to find next week.
  11. Dane Brugler has his updated mock after the combine up this morning on the athletic and he has Buffalo taking CB Maxwell Hairston Kentucky. there are a number of good players available when Buffalo picks in this mock. He had grant to Detroit. also had sanders to Pitt.
  12. I would love grant. I still do not belive they would take a 1 tech in the first round. i have the idea that they are going to have a group of guys they seem to be all similar when they get close to their pick and will entertain trade backs. what if the giants want to jump Cleveland for a qb and call and offer 34 and 104 for 30. I would think unless they love a guy or someone they were hoping would fall to them does, this kind of move makes a lot of sense. I guess the bills could ask for 34 and 65 but that is an overpay unless Buffalo kicked in 108. i just think there is a real chance one of those early 2nd round teams is going to want back in. If the giants fall in love with a qb and want to jump Cleveland, Buffalo could make out really well.
  13. They were down rapp and benford at KC last year. seems your top safety and corner is a lot more than just “a single guy”
  14. Sorry I am not trading one of the teams best offensive players for the 63 rd pick in the draft. they spent two full off seasons building a real running game. They now have one of the best ones in the league. sal has talked over and over about this since the season ended. They want more speed on offense and more strength and size on defense. how would trading James cook to your arch rival help with any of that. If they don’t get a deal done with cook this summer and he plays out his deal and leaves he will get you a possible 4th round comp and who knows if he is gets a huge deal maybe a third. so why not hang onto him and get a prove it year out of him and then get the comp pick. The KC pick is basically the top of the third round anyway. I don’t understand this obsession with giving away good players.
  15. they need to replace their guards now too. I am not sure how they are going to pull this off with all these guys needing to be paid in cincy. They ony have six picks and three in the top 100.
  16. I can't wait for the announcement he is signing in Dallas. Him and his brother can stand off to the side during mini camp and training camp while they rehab together and talk crap about Dak.
  17. I can't wait to watch sanders flame out and blame everyone else for the next 30 years of his life. He learned from the best. I wouldn't take sanders and put him in my locker room with any pick in the draft.
  18. I want them to sign him. He is not going to break the bank and if he can be had in the curtis samuel neighborhood. I am not scared of his injuries. The two thumb issues are concerning but I like him as a player and as a guy in the locker room. Whoever comes to play that outside position here, Free Agent or Rookie has to be ok with not getting the ball 10 times a game. It's just not going to happen. Slayton is a player who is about the team. I think he is a good fit. Then you don't have to chase the position in the draft and can take someone if they fall to you early or later. Osa Odighizuwa is working out a deal currently with Dallas at around 22 million a year. That is like 5 million more a year than Ed Oliver and on his best day he is C level Ed Oliver. I can't imagine the bills pay anyone at that position before the draft since they have Oliver, Carter at the 3 tech and Jones at the 1 tech with logue and ankou on the PS. Seems they are definitely taking at least 1 DT in the draft and I bet they take two.
  19. I am hoping the Bills work something out with Darius Slayton as I have stated ad nauseam. here is his injury history.
  20. The athletics Free agent rankings, Top 10 at each position. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6163037/2025/03/03/nfl-free-agency-rankings-2025-positions/ This group has plenty of name value, but age and injury concerns will complicate the market. Two of the top three are coming off serious injuries requiring surgery, and four of the top six will turn 31 before the season starts. Even Higgins — who could have double-digit suitors if the Bengals don’t tag him — has question marks: Can he produce like a WR1 without Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase? Will soft-tissue injuries always be a lingering issue? Godwin and the Buccaneers are working toward a new deal, but most of these wideouts should hit the market. Diggs and Cooper might have the most upside of the over-30 crew, but Diggs must prove he’s healthy following a torn ACL, and Cooper’s stock slipped down the stretch (albeit while playing through a wrist injury) with Buffalo. Teams seeking speedy role players will have options: Beyond Slayton, Moore and Brown, the class also includes the Rams’ Tutu Atwell, Commanders’ Dyami Brown, Chargers’ Joshua Palmer and Saints’ Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Cornerback is right behind edge for the deepest position in the class, with 19 players in the top 150, tied with wide receiver for second most. It’s also a strong group at the top, featuring several proven starters, along with useful contributors down the board. Ward’s market could be shaped by his desire to be closer to Texas. Reed, an excellent No. 2 CB, could command No. 1 CB money. Murphy might also be in demand, although fit will be important after he thrived in Brian Flores’ highly schemed defense. Durability concerns could impact Davis’ market, but the more intriguing health-related questions are about Adebo (who broke his femur in October) and Samuel, who missed most of 2024 with stinger issues in his shoulder that he said he “was born with.” Both appeared on track for large contracts before injuries cropped up, complicating their futures. Most of the top five are at their best closer to the line of scrimmage, led by Reid. He would probably have ranked behind Xavier McKinney and Antoine Winfield Jr. in 2024’s class, but his versatility and tackling will make any defense better. Hufanga and Holland are a year or two removed from their best seasons, but the upside is obvious with both. Moehrig thrived while playing more strong safety in 2024, and Chinn is also at his best in the box. For teams needing more of a free safety, Williams and Simmons are worthwhile buy-low candidates. Cisco and Blackmon have flashed their range on the back end, but inconsistency and injury history might temper their markets. Melifonwu has the talent to be the gem of the entire class if he lands in the right spot and stays healthy.
  21. Grant falling would be pretty great. Sal was on wgr this morning and was pushing the strength narrative. If anyone has been paying attention to Sal since the end of the year he has been dropping hints at the team thinking they are not strong enough, from Kincaid to the D-Line. Sal has even said they fired Eric Ciano not because of guys being injured but because the organization believes the strength program was not good enough. So with an emphasis on team strength and size, Grant would be a perfect fit. I still have my doubts they take a 1 tech though in the first round. I hope they do.
  22. Morris biggest role is special teams and he is good at it. I imagine they get a deal done with him. This is a tough year to be a fringe tight end on a roster. Good players in the draft and teams always want to get younger at those depth positions. Having said that I do think they will make a deal with him. He has shown he can play well on offense when given the chance and is a special teams player that is very good.
  23. Didn't he openly say he hated Buffalo fans? once he is released it seems there is like a less than 1% chance he would sign here and probably the percent that the team would be willing to pay him.
  24. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/with-deebo-samuel-out-could-brandon-aiyuk-be-next Make of that what you will. Aiyuk is one of the most overrated wr ever. If SF traded him a year after giving him a contract...oof. Maybe SF is going to look for a younger inexpensive player. Who takes that contract from them though.
  25. Has this been stated somewhere? They have the cap space I think to absorb his money. seems making him play on a prove it year is the better move than taking on multiple years of money.
