He had a step on his guy with momentum towards the pylon but the throw forced him to slow his momentum and jumped while reaching back slightly. That’s what I saw from watching it live last night.
My apologies if you weren’t being snarky. Hard to tell with posts. This was my impression from watching the game last night. Also from players interviews after the game.
No I’m just making it up. My lying eyes saw Rice ‘abusing LBs/slot coverage all night’ then turned upfield a good 5 yards before another defender was on screen. Unlike last year when Kelce and Rice made catches in the middle and was usually surrounded by defenders.
What you saw throughout the game was Rice catching a pass in the middle of a wide open field because the safeties were retreating deep to cover Worthy. KC was missing that speed element to take off the cover last year. Now they have it and are better for their overall team.
I completely agree that luck does play a role. But unlike poker where pocket aces will beat pocket kings 8 out of 10 let’s say. So you know that even if the kings beat you a few times your aces will win in the long run because of probability.
In the NFL the Bills are not holding pocket aces. It’s not a constant like poker was my point. So multiple Super Bowl appearances in the next five years would be like drawing a 1 outer consecutive times in multiple sessions. It’s not happening because…probability.
If it works it’s magical. If it doesn’t it’s idiotic. There’s a fine, but well defined, line between the two scenarios.
Yeah NFL football works exactly like poker. I’m looking forward to those multiple Super Bowl appearances in the next 5 years.
This is exactly what’s happening. Domestic violence takes priority over other issues. That’s why I was surprised Von didn’t get anything from his incident.
Yeah right. Like we didn’t see Mahomes drove his team for a winning score in the Super Bowl against a healthy SF defense. But sure it’s 50/50 KC would’ve scored against our depleted defense.
