  1. If that had been Bledsoe, the safety would have been his sixth or seventh sack on the day. For most of the game, JP was everything that Bledsoe wasn't. I agree with you, I thought he had a very good game.
  2. And he had the team moving late in the game until the Royal penalty. And that's against a team that has made even the best quarterbacks look terrible in recent years. JP did well today. I was prepared for much worse.
  3. Was it JP's fault that Royal screwed up his pass to Price (and that drive)? Was it JP's fault that Willis couldn't decide which way to go on fourth and two feet? Losman played a very good game. He turned a terrible snap in shotgun formation into a first down and got rid of the ball quickly for most of the game (until we were backed into our own endzone thanks to moronic penalties).
  4. Whitner damn near won the game for us there. And Simpson did a nice job filling in when Vincent got injured. Marv's draft looked pretty good today. The young players didn't lose the game for us today. It was mistakes by veterans that ended up killing us.
  5. He needs to just be able to settle for 1 or 2 yards when there's nothing there. That's a big swing compared to losing 1 or 2 yards.
  6. 1. His knee was down, he didn't get that 1st down. 2. QB sneak is almost always good for half a yard. Snap the ball and go forward.
  7. Titans were awful last season and they spent their first round pick on Vince Young who won't be helping them right away anyway. They'll be bad this year.
  8. We lost on the road against a good team with the best QB in football. Seriously, that's not that bad.
  9. I like the decision to go for it. I really don't like the play they went with. They needed less than a yard. Push the ball STRAIGHT FORWARD. The whole play should be over with in less than one second. Instead we had McGahee doing studder steps two yards behind the line of scrimmage before he finally decided to fall forward (and he was short).
  10. They just started talking about Thomas on WGR, but I was wondering the same thing. Why didn't they give him the ball more? McGahee wasn't that great. Give Thomas the ball a couple more times after that touchdown. He looked great that drive.
  11. THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!!!! THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!
  12. But you'll save time!
  13. Here is a really sexy hat featuring the Banana Slug. Sweet Jesus
  14. "Story highlights" Outstanding. And this happens when most news articles put the most important information towards the very end of the text (and never anywhere near the headline) already.
  15. If it is an editorial, then I could care less. But it doesn't say "editorial" anywhere. It does say "article", which is laughable.
  16. It's hard to take an article seriously when it is written as an editorial and literally titled "On his knees, Bush pins his hopes on fear." If that was supposed to be unbiased, it was a pretty sad effort. On the other hand, I recommend that you continue posting links to articles to state your case. Regardless of their quality, they are always less embarassing than the stuff you type yourself.
  17. It's pretty unbelievable they haven't leaked yet.
  18. I fired down a can of that stuff six hours ago and it almost killed me. EDIT: The Pepsi, not the urinal stuff, is what I drank six hours ago. I didn't drink urinal liquids this afternoon. There's no way I'm ever doing that again.
  19. Send my regards. And some penicillin.
  20. The video is actually pretty scary. The reporter is interviewing a man that was screwed by this couple's housing scam (and later threatened by them after he came forward) and all of a sudden this car pulls up and the wife runs out to scream at him (which, BTW, always makes people seem very reasonable). After she's done swearing and yelling incoherently, her husband comes from the car, makes what appears to be the worst punch attempt in human history, and then proceeds to claw at the reporter's face (ripping at his eyes and skin). If the original interviewee hadn't gotten involved, there's no telling what would have happened. Meanwhile, the wife says she's getting a gun but comes back from the car with a paper weight. Before she can smash someone's skull in, another bystander takes it from her.
  21. Wow, I can't believe someone who parties for a living would get a DUI. The scary thing is she probably drives drunk twice a week, and she won't even be punished this time. Woooooo! I'd be lying if I said it wasn't exciting to see one of the stupid things I wrote in someone else's sig. People can read my sig for another important viewpoint on PH.
  22. Try dropping something off at The University of Texas... (Men at risk of a heart attack shouldn't go anywhere near that place.)
  23. Maureen Dowd??? All her stuff is high school humor and fluff. Even when she occasionally writes something that isn't incoherent, she's a complete lightweight. Back when you could read her editorials online for free, it was almost fun to check out her stuff just to see how flimsy it was and how few facts she'd ever sprinkle in. Friedman is good. The World is Flat was worth reading.
  24. Yeah, Conan isn't a brilliant political mind like Jon Stewart.
