  1. Yes, those were important file cabinets though. And the after effects of breaking into them are much more important here in 2005 than anything else Nixon did during his term. Then again, Watergate is something people have heard of so it must be the most important. File cabinets. DING!
  2. Watergate was incredibly insignificant compared to all the good Nixon did.
  3. Nope. I'm in my 20's and the GWOT is the most important issue so embracing the retard filmmaker who undermines our country is pretty poor behavior for a former President.
  4. Nicely done. You can't even declare MM a 'hot pocket' without using one of your own (Neo-con).
  5. Michael Moore is the guy who called the insurgents in Iraq "Minute Men." He also declared (over a year ago) that they were going to win (barely able to contain his glee). He does everything he can to undermine the war effort. And Carter, former POTUS, former Commander in Chief, embraces him. If that isn't embarassing. I don't know what is.
  6. The liberal answer to Reagan's work was that "the Soviet Union was going to collapse anyway." There's a precedent. Any good that comes from Bush's policies will be downplayed anyway. Liberals hate W so much that there's no chance they'll ever give him a fair shake no matter how things turn out. Pretty much everything he's done since he left office. Including cuddling with Michael Moore at the Democratic National Convention. Holding hands with the anti-American propagandist - how very Presidential.....
  7. From Australia...... More Idiocy "Insensitive" to the people who kidnapped him...... Oh well, but I'm sure Mr. Jaspan thinks Gitmo is a paradise. There wouldn't be a double standard involved right?
  8. Anyone else catch the story in the Washington Times about Amnesty International actively seeking out Gulag survivors to come forward and support their claim that Gitmo is just as bad if not worse? Yeah, they're a trustworthy group.
  9. They'll just refuse to acknowledge it. Best - George W.......Washington, that is. Worst - Probably Grant, although Jimmy Carter is the most embarrassing.
  10. Oh brother. I'm sure the one year old was devastated.
  11. Give me a break. One last time - Howard Dean doesn't have right to say ANYTHING because he says things as stupid as what Rove said on a nearly daily basis.
  12. We need you, PC. Stay for another 100 posts or so OK? This is eerily remniscent of the ending to E.T.
  13. That's not what I said at all. Karl Rove is the only one responsible for what Karl Rove says. But Dean saying anything about Rove is like Michael Jackson telling other people how to raise their children. Ludicrous.
  14. The funniest part of the whole thing was Howard Dean condemning Rove for using "inflammatory rhetoric." Hilarious.
  15. LOL Yeah, I hope his family publishes that book of his work. I'll buy two. Must've been a real genius.
  16. You mean to tell me I own the greatest album ever made and all it's been doing is sitting in a CD rack gathering dust for the past 6-7 years? You'd think if it was so great I'd have bothered to give it a listen from time to time. New albums that should be on there: White Pony - Deftones Deja Entandu - Brand New
  17. He was the nearest 98 lb weakling! Katie Holmes would have had to defend him. Where was she on that one?
  18. OK, I'll stand corrected. I hadn't thought about the 'nutcase' angle and people like Cruise are high-profile enough that they have to worry about stuff like that. In retrospect, it was a goofy practical joke but Cruise didn't know that and I understand that could have been a little scary. I guess it just seems weird because in the video he starts to laugh at first and then freaks out. If he had switched the order, it would've seemed more natural.
  19. Why would he attack the interviewer for squiring him with 1/2 cup of water? (Note to BF: you don't have to answer.) Laugh it off, Tom. You make over $50M a year and have all the boyfriends, ER, Katie Holmes you can get your hands on. Life is good.
  20. Every interview he gives is the same stupid questions and the same stupid answers. "It's great working with Steven Speilberg." "It's great working on a movie based on H.G. Wells' work." "We really wanted to do a different take on the source material." "Dakota Fanning is extremely mature for her age." "This is an exciting time for me." You'd think a goofy practical joke like that would be a nice way to break things up.
  21. It's entertaining, that's for sure. My guess is we're on track for about 10 pages of AD and the new guy going back and forth.
  22. Why was TC so upset? That seemed like the most harmless thing ever.
  23. The only thing nearly as cool as how well he played tonight is how humble he was in the post-game interview. "It's just a game. I'm just trying to have fun." "It's all about being a good teammate." Horry is amazing.
