Holy crap, this may be the funniest thing I've ever read. The "Retatta" sentence is headed straight for my signature.

Just saw Batman Begins last night and it was incredible. One of the best summer movies I've ever seen (we'll see how it holds up to repeat viewings but....DAMN!). This movie was so good that there was a point about halfway through where I already wanted to see it again! Bale was awesome. The supporting cast - Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Rutger Hauer, Gary Oldman - was incredible. Scarecrow, even though he wasn't a central focus of the movie, was way cool. One last spoiler thing. Highlight below: Oh and the last scene with the Joker cameo was so cool I almost wet my pants.

So what defines an Al Qaeda member these days anyway? Do they have to know OBL or just agree with him? It's not like these guys have ID cards. Somehow I don't think Bush was the person who came up with the strategy and planning behind the invasion. The President isn't usually the guy standing in front of a huge map of a region with a laser pointer explaining which divisions will be attacking where. OTOH, maybe he should have just advised them to "kick butt."

Unbelievably, yes. I had forgotten how infuriariting the players were with their demands and their half-hearted attempts at compromise and mostly their complete lack of control of their own union (I remember Jay McKee's reaction to hearing they'd agreed to the concept of a salary cap - "Really? Wow."). JR's comments brought it all back and made me realize what a bunch of spoiled dimwits we're paying to watch. Maybe we should stay away.

The past couple weeks I've really been looking forward to them getting this thing settled. Now I could care less. Good job, JR. The ironic part is that he sounded like a cocky, spoiled little brat....exactly what he was admonishing fans for saying about him and his buddies. Screw the players. Screw hockey. We have about half a million other ways to spend our time.
