If Goodell had his way, there would be a football game on every day of the week. I remember during Covid the Steelers and Ravens played on Wed afternoon. But that was Covid forcing that which made it a different situation.

I am an Isles fan here and the Caps next two games are against the Blackhawks on Friday night and then Sunday afternoon at UBS vs the Isles. I think he does it in either of these games.

This falls on Beane to bring more elite level talent in to help Josh. With the exception of #17 who else at the skill positions is elite. Cook is probably the closest one to elite, but he isn't on the level of Barkley and Henry. While the Bills have some nice receivers, they have nobody that scares the opposing defense. At the same time the defense has been a big problem in the playoffs. With the exception of the Ravens game from a few years back when they had the pick 6, I can't recall a playoff game where they played well. Talent and scheme are both to blame. That falls on both Beane and McDermott.

If the Bills are bringing back the red helmets, then I hope they use this uniform combination for one home game. I actually like the white over blue with red helmet better than the blue over white with red helmet.

Burleson will probably be the replacement to be the host of the CBS pregame/post-game show in the studio when James Brown retires.

Watching football for me on Christmas is not a problem as everyone in the family are football fans. Most are Jets fans which leads to some trash talking as I am a Bills fan. So, the game is always on the TV during the holidays.

Poor NBA. Christmas was their day just like Thanksgiving is the NFL's. But football being the most popular sport in America can do whatever they want. The NBA, MLB, and NHL are all second rate compared to the NFL. Even college football is huge especially in the south.

Mougey and Glenn will get the honeymoon period this year. But after year 3 and things still haven't gotten better than both of them will get the boot. Same as every other GM/HC they have had lately.

Why interim? I could see if he was taking over mid-season but that is not the case here.

I hope the Bills can add a legit #1 receiver in this draft with speed who can stretch the field but priority #1 should be fixing the defense. Until that gets fixed the Lombardi will never come to Buffalo.
