Blowhard Rex Ryan thinks the Jets have the better QB. Here is the quote. Wearing a Jets jacket and his dads superbowl III ring Ryan threw the word “we” around a lot in his excitement on ESPN’s “Get Up”: “This happens to be Super Bowl III, my dad’s Super Bowl ring right there. And why am I wearing it? Because the Jets are going. Watch out, everybody. Here come the Jets! Here come the Jets! Right now, we haven’t had this type of quarterback maybe ever, since [Joe] Nameth or whatever, or maybe ever. This is it. This is the missing piece for the New York Jets right here. Guess what all you fans in the AFC East: it ain’t no fun when the rabbit’s got the gun. Because we’ve got the gun right now, and it is on. Our defense is better than yours, our quarterback is better than yours. It is on ... Here we come Jets.”

At least two years. Connor Hughes on Twitter: "#Jets QB Aaron Rodgers confirms plans to play beyond 2023. Told ya 😉" / Twitter

It would be funny if shows up to his press conference and then writes "I quit as QB of the NYJ" and then walks out.

Rich Cimini on Twitter: "Aaron Rodgers will be introduced today at a 2 pm presser. Yesterday, Joe Douglas addressed the trade. #Jets https://t.co/zc1J8A4dVq" / Twitter

The Rangers have their hands full with the Devils. I think that one goes 7 and it really is anyone's guess who will win. Both teams are evenly matched. The Isles are underdogs obviously, but the Canes are banged up. The Isles usually play well at home and Sorokin is capable of stealing the series. Get it to game 7 and the pressure is on the Canes as they are expected to win.
-
Huge win for the Isles. UBS will be rocking Friday night for game 6. Win that and then anything can happen in a game 7.
-
Watching game 5 of the Rangers - Devils. I will check in from time to time to see when the Bills pick but it will be hockey for me.

And now a word from Rex.

A big reason is the Jets DL dominates the Bills crap OL. If we have a better OL and we can bring in Hopkins to go along with Diggs, then I think Josh will be fine going against the Jets D. Although I do expect two tough, physical games against them this season. I remember last year, and the Jets got fired up to play the Bills more than anyone else including the Pats/Fins since the Bills have been the top team in the division recently. Remember Saleh's "we will see them again" in the playoffs quote.

The wheel turns for the Pats and their fans
Gregg replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Still 6 Super Bowl wins should buy a lot of patience with fanbase during some losing seasons. -

How much suffering are they really going thru. Not only do they have 6 Super Bowl championships, but they are currently watching their B's and Celtics in the playoffs. The B's are the favorite to Cup this year. -
Daym is right. Paul Hembekides on Twitter: "Aaron Rodgers went 80-10 with the Packers when they allowed fewer than 20 points. The Jets allowed 18.6 PPG last season." / Twitter

My bad. But in my defense, I wasn't even born yet when he played for the Bills.

Being an NFL owner has to be the best. Most popular sport in America. The TV contracts alone make the league a cash cow. The Bills will make Terry and Kim's children so much money over the years. Just look at how the Bills value increased since Terry bought them. He paid 1.4 billion and now thanks to the new stadium they are worth more than 3 billion. The Sabres however might be a different story. Aren't they in the red financially?

2nd worst? He is better than Tua and Jones

NFL Schedule Interview with Mike North by Sal C Up
Gregg replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
The first MNF game this year falls on 9/11. The New York Post suggested about a month or so ago that the Jets and Giants should face each other week 1 as the two NYC area teams. They suggested they could have a special ceremony honoring/remembering the victims before the game. This wasn't an NFL rumor or anything, but a suggestion made by the New York Post. We will see if the league will do it in a few weeks when the schedule comes out. -
I think too much is made of Rodgers relationship with the media. Rodgers "fights back" with the media all the time over the years. Has it affected his play? Guy is one of the best to do it and he is a slam dunk HOF in his first year of eligibility. Rodgers doesn't let the media affect his play. Never has and never will.

Took a look at Ganggreen.com board and many Jets fans aren't thrilled with what they gave up. Some are happy obviously, but many see the same concerns with the deal that have been posted here.

One of those primetime games will probably be against the Bills. Allen vs Rodgers. Rivalry game where they will be battling for the AFCE.

I can't see the Lions or Bears playing week 1 at KC. The Chiefs have better opponents to choose from. The 2023 Chiefs home schedule is the Bills, Dolphins, Bengals, Eagles, Bears, Lions, plus the division.
