In fairness to the fans McDermott has been here 7 years. This team has gotten worse since 13 seconds. The frustrating losses are becoming more frequent. At some point the Bills have to move from McDermott if he can't deliver. The Eagles eventually moved on from Reid. It feels like the time is coming for the Bills to do the same.

Agree. We will have to wait and see how the rest of the season plays out. Right now, it's looking very good that we get the 2nd place schedule. I don't see the Jets or Pats catching us and I doubt we catch the Fins unfortunately.

He wins most of his close games unlike McDermott. He is doing it with Pickett as his QB. It seems like every week the Steelers are trailing most of the day in some low scoring game. Then the offense puts one drive together and they pull out the win. Not the Browns game but most of them.
-
He wants to fill the new stadium. Raised ticket prices and PSL fees with a declining team is not a winning formula. If anything, that will be the reason Pegula puts pressure on McDermott and Beane to fix this.
-
They aren't a package deal. The Jets hired Adam Gase to be the HC (Gase LOL) who then recommended that JD be hired for the GM job. Same way McDermott and Beane got hired here. Gase got fired and JD is still the GM of the Jets. So just because one gets fired doesn't mean the other one will. It is Pegula's call, and he will do what he wants.

If they were going to fire McDermott in season, then yesterday should have been the day. Bye week. Promote Joe Brady to interim HC and give him 2 weeks to get ready for the Chiefs as HC. If they don't do it at this time, then Sean is here for the rest of the season.
-
No but while they have been dominant at home, they are only 3-3 on the road. They did lose to the Cardinals. It will be a tough game, but it is winnable especially at home.
-
Just a heads up. Don't watch the NFLN tonight 8:00. The game is being replayed at this time.
-
Along with Zach Wilson.

At least we don't have fake spike, butt fumble and hail mary pick 6. We got that going for us.
-
With what team?
-
1. 13 seconds. That was the year I think they would have won it all. 2. AFCCG vs Chiefs. They got blown out, but it was the AFCCG. So close to a Super Bowl. 3. The Bengals playoff game. Got blown out at home. It was depressing. 4. The playoff loss at Houston. Blowing a huge lead and losing in OT. I stuck with playoff games instead of regular season losses.
-
It always come back to the main problem for the Jets. He is the one who wanted Rodgers. Saleh and JD wanted Carr, but you have to do what the boss wants.
-
I want them to win as the season can still be saved at 6-6. But if they fall to 6-8 with losses to the Chiefs and Cowboys then 6-11 is probably the best scenario. One we will get a higher draft pick and McDermott probably gets canned as well.
-
If he and the Bills offense has another strong performance against a good Chiefs defense in Arrowhead, then you may be on to something here.
-
Week 1 vs the Jets with the punt return in OT. The Pats game. The Broncos game. All in heartbreaking fashion. It's time for a change and I hope Terry realizes it.
-
Good luck to Terry selling tickets at the new stadium with increased tickets prices and PSL fees with a declining team heading in the wrong direction.
-
If they make the playoffs, then yes but if they miss and its looking like they will then I wouldn't be so sure about that.

McD on late game decisions - "Hindsight is always 20/20"
Gregg replied to HomeskillitMoorman's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills will probably ask for fans to put a deposit down on PSL's in 2025 even though the stadium opens in 2026. The Jets and Giants did that when they moved to MetLife. -
We always end up on the losing side in these types of games. Definitely avoiding the NFL network this week as they will be replaying that game a bunch of times.
-
I guess Thurman will be the HC.
-
I wouldn't make that comparison. Meyer failed miserably in the NFL. Harbaugh took the 49ers to the Super Bowl. He has proven he can coach at the NFL level.

Terry Pegula is the only one who can fix this. I doubt anything happens now but if the Bills miss the playoffs, then he has to do something.
