Because they had a good O line and this past offseason they cemented it to be what looks like a top 3 line in the NFL. They picked up 3 new tackles, two will start. Their O line is damn good. Their running game is damn good. Wilson and Williams are good WR's. So, if Rogers is healthy - look TheF out! I hate them Jets but honestly, they are the competition this year for the division and potentially the Bowl. Their D... dude... it's good.

If Rogers is healthy they sweep us. Hands down. Sucks, but it's true.

Minus a few drops we looked great in the passing game. If we were one dimensional using the run like you suggest, I doubt we win those tight games. Home opener gonna be a tough game. Arizona was playing well at the end of last year and they just drafted a very good WR in round 1. We will see what the Bills are made of very early, and hopefully, very often.

Josh was throwing all over teams. Not the long ball but short and intermediate to Kincaid and Shakir and Diggs. We moved the ball with ease at times. Diggs had a LOT of drops in this timeframe, so I assume you are referring to that. But otherwise, our game was mint. Scored over 30 vs KC in the second round playoff game too. Wasn't pretty, but neither is any team. It's called football.

Not sure what rock you live by, but many player make their own trade. Just look at Marshawn Lynch in Buffalo. He literally walked up to Marv Levy and said I want out. Marv had him out in 2 days. Woods from Buffalo also requested a trade. Happened fast. If a player is disgruntled and wants out - he is out and getting moved. Only old stumpy GM's/owners hold on to them to prove a power point. (See Steelers). Happens all the time. Ayouk is as good as gone...

If Milano and Bernard are both limited again because of their injuries last season, Benford/Elam still being a "thing", our safties and especially our edge rushers (Von). I love the optimism in this thread! Go Bills baby! And I love Shakir. But no way in cold Buffalo is Shakir sniffing 1000 yards receiving this season. He's a good slot receiver. Beane has built a room full of good WR's on the cheap. It's actually a smart way to build the team. But what it means is we will be spreading the ball and the wealth of catches to all of them. My list is as follows: Kincaid - 800 Samuel - 650 Coleman - 600/650 Shakir - 600 Knox - 450 Cook - 350 Ty Johnson - 300 Davis - 200 MVS - 350/400 The best part is this: Our RB's will have a record season in rushing! All three of them. Pound it baby! Get up early and pound the rock is what Brady is famous for. Bank it. GO BILLS!

Love the post and I agree with OP. Our room is better - on paper. The big question I have is will our O line hold up this season? Losing Morse isn't a good thing. Josh was under pressure during games when the game was close and on the line way too much. It's the O line and how Brady counters that will exhibit how our season goes. I expect a running game to mask the ills until our WR corps can gel later in the season.

Great point. Smoot is a stout, strong DE that is flying under the radar this year with Bills fans. He was a great signing! The "rotation" get's us over 20 no doubt.
