9/7/25 2nd Half Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF
henry jones replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know I got distracted by the clipboard someone dropped on the Ravens sideline during that 3rd down play... Should that have been a flag? -
9/7/25 1st Half Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF
henry jones replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let’s see…they’ll put another TD on the board here then come out after halftime with another. We’ll be down 21 before we get the ball again -
9/7/25 1st Half Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF
henry jones replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gonna need to put a TD on the board every drive from here on out to have even a slim chance. We ain’t stopping sh$t the rest of the night -

This team is completely hamstrung by the offensive and defensive coordinators -
The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
henry jones replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
The implications to the Bills are pointless unless we win games. A little early to talk about playoff implications -
You might be on to something here. Can't even claim the title of the snowiest city in the US!!

What this doesn’t show is how wide open his receivers are. Aren’t his receivers #1 in separation rate or something like that. Hes always had a great O-line which allows him time in the pocket and thus allows his wideouts time to get open. Pretty sure I could hit the guys he’s throwing to! -
As far as the playoffs are concerned, JA is statistically the best we've seen. He has dramatically stepped up his game when it matters most. McDermott's defenses, on the other hand, have completely melted down when it matters most and statistically one of the worst ever. Mahomes is a great QB, but Andy Reid has the formula and his defenses have been markedly improved come playoff time.

Christian Wilkins released for kissing team mate
henry jones replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean…he’d prolly give JA a reach around in the shower! 😀 -
The Debby Downer in me sees this team going 9-8 or 10-7. We have sh$t injury luck yet again and the “defense” gives up a league record 46.1 ppg.

So much for trying to trade him for a 7th rounder

Just Curious what were most surprising cuts NFL wide?
henry jones replied to Jistafan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Plus… since Beane likes to do his shopping at the Twin Fair/Gold Circle of NFL teams, this seems like an obvious move! -
Agreed...I'm hoping preseason was just a mirage and everything just corrects itself. I feel the offense will be fine, but will take a few game to shake off the rust. The only way this team makes it back to the AFCG is if injuries are at a minimum. The defensive backfield gives me the heebie-jeebies. The defense without injuries will easily give up 25-30 points per game.

Biggest concern is their defensive backfield vs our receiver group. Even if Shakir is a go, they will be man to man all night long and can bring an extra backer and still have a spy on JA. -
Wishbone and 46 (can it still work in modern day NFL)
henry jones replied to major's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would love to see it. I think it could work as a change of pace for a few series or a quarter, maybe two. NFL defenses would eventually figure out how to stop it. I mean, Army and Navy run over, through and around most schools they play against and they have substandard athletes on offense. So, why not?!?! -
You’re not wrong. Defense was always going to be a problem even before the injuries. This defensive “guru” of a head coach is wasting JA’s prime years
-
Maybe they're bringing him back as a FS!!

Does there need to be a rethinking of the basic D?
henry jones replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Relatively poor drafting on the defensive side of the ball has crippled this defense. The way Chicago's 2nd & 3rd teamers beat the crap out of ours is a clear indication that we don't have the athletes for whatever the hell scheme we have. -
Should Buffalo cut all their backup QBs?
henry jones replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are much bigger issues on the other side of the ball that they need to focus on. If JA ever gets hurt, we're toast regardless who our backup QB is. Our defense won't be able to hold anyone under 30 pts by the looks of it. Could be a long year if our defensive guru of a head coach can't get this defense fixed. -
Kyle Dugger….Possible trade/cut candidate
henry jones replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
He didn’t play for Carolina, so he ain’t on Beane’s radar -
