  1. There are no horizons for you. That must be maddening.
  2. We walked out of the most recent Avatar. Terrible movie. But I love Guillermo Del Toro's stuff- Shape of Water is also amazing. There's some good TV too. Mentioned Mr's Maisel in another thread. Loved The Crown and Downton Abbey. Never at a loss for something to stream when I'm watching.
  3. you realize an agreement will set precedent? If an English filmmaker wants Ewan McGregor he'll have to pay similar money to what he would get in Hollywood. Unless it's really great art 😃
  4. you really are dense. It takes "creative types" to make art. You think some accountant in a cubicle at netflix thinks this stuff up and then produces it. Netflix will need to pay for the art. The cost is currently being determined by the strike. They will work it out. It's a part of the fabric of America. Transformers and Captain America included with Ben Hur and The Graduate. wow. you're so inquisitive! streaming on netflix as we speak. https://www.netflix.com/title/80218455
  5. Not sure if you noticed but I don't use a script. I frequently cite salient and relevant quotations from those in the middle of the storm. Perhaps you should try it...
  6. plenty of art movies still being made. Avoid the ones aimed at morons and produced to fund the artists real work. This won an Oscar this year and is definitely art but you might not enjoy it
  7. Geez, I wonder why...the group think we witness here has it's basis in that human turd. He tells you what to believe and you believe. He tells you to attack the capitol and you do. He tells you that Covid will be over by Easter and you believe him and go about your lives as if everything is fine, he tells you he's innocent... So were really not only concentrating on trump as a threat but also on people like you.
  8. sure, art is for pu$$ies...u all are pathetic cavemen
  9. looks like some of the delusions rubbed off on you.
  10. There are brilliant writers and actors, cinematographers and soundtrack folks still ready and available. They'll figure it out. The big bosses also have much to lose.
  11. This guy is getting some deserved buzz here. I have this card. And what a great name! https://www.psacard.com/cardfacts/football-cards/1970-topps/haven-moses-165/9474
  12. Yes, talk amongst yourselves...
  13. Marlon "the magician" Briscoe was my favorite player for a short while...He actually played some good football after leaving the Bills as a QB I think.
  14. I've been to an Imax only once in Wilmington NC. The theater was spectacular but I can't remember the movie. Bunch of family there, didn't matter.
  15. We still have drive ins down here with double features. Very cool. last drive in movie I saw before here was "Flesh Gordon" with a bunch of different sexed humans. Super fun! Not winning an Oscar tho...Looks like it's playing on Max. Sadly not a subscriber but once was enough. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0068595/
  16. Can't wait to see Barbie and Oppenheimer...They'll figure it out and with hopefully more for the artistic creators. C'mon it's America!
  17. just need a frequency change And when I go away I know my heart can stay with my love It's understood, it's in the hands of my love And my love does it good [Chorus] Wo, wo-wo, wo Wo, wo-wo, wo My love does it good [Verse 2] And when the cupboard's bare I'll still find something there with my love It's understood, it's everywhere with my love And my love does it good [Chorus]
  18. from the link: "She is not going to want to do anything but go by the book. The challenge is there has never been a book like this," said Kendall Coffey, a former U.S. Attorney in Miami who served on the advisory committee that reviewed Cannon's judicial application. He said he was impressed with her credentials and felt confident she would be able to oversee the case fairly. Ulcers forming and insomnia raging... Lawyers?
  19. Cool..Whom I kidding? It's not even cool in the blue ridge at ummm...9 pm? At least the course was uncrowded. Pool was full.
  20. Ok Billsy... a bit much. But I admire the effort.
  21. When we were bad, the half back option was almost a regular play. But it often worked and was great to watch when it worked. Says something about our QB's for several years.
  22. Same people that take this literally: PAGELS: The images that have always captured people, one of them is an image of an enormous bright red beast with seven heads, with crowns on his head - a violent, raging, threatening monster. Another is a giant ***** called the ***** of Babylon, who sits on the back of one of these monsters, one of these dragons with seven heads, bright red, and she's drinking from a golden cup the blood of innocent people who have been killed. Then there's another image of Jesus coming forth from the sky and starting the battle of Armageddon, which ends in, you know, heaps and heaps of corpses at the end of the book. Nice, huh?
