It means another subprime mortgage disaster. If people can’t afford payments on a thirty year mortgage, they can’t afford the house. Sadly, many MAGAs will believe him and end up delinquent on their loans eventually defaulting and losing the principal they’ve accumulated to the banks. Apparently, even Ingraham acknowledges this but I can’t bring myself to listen to the clip and listen to both of their obnoxious voices.

50 year mortgages
Joe Ferguson forever replied to milfandcookies's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Mortgage rates are still near historic lows over the last 50 years https://www.bankrate.com/mortgages/historical-mortgage-rates/. Building material costs have skyrocketed, in part due to tariffs. When it cost more to buy new builds, existing housing becomes more valuable. Builders started offering mortgage rate subsidies for buyers with few takers. They just don't have the scratch. Wages have not kept up with costs. -
President Trump's 2nd Term.

true dat https://www.msn.com/en-us/politics/general/federalist-boss-savages-weak-and-rudderless-trump-in-scathing-rant/ar-AA1Q95Wd “I don’t know who is advising congressional Republicans on strategy right now, but whoever it is has an IQ barely approaching room temperature,” Davis wrote in a lengthy post on X. “Republicans right now have no accomplishments, no plans, and no vision. Why on earth would anyone be excited to go vote for them 12 months from now? Trump needs to ditch the foreign policy c--p and focus all his attention on the domestic economy, which is still not working for the majority of people. Right now he looks weak and rudderless. Be mad all you want, but it’s the truth.” from the conservative "Federalist" -
If we get to a .500 record or are eliminated from the playoff race, they should bench Josh to protect him from serious injury. Then draft and/or sign some decent WR's in the offseason.

Once again, I'm proud that Tim Kaine is my senator. Pragmatic as always, he put the ;people over politics. He realized that losing the battle is better than losing the war which continues in the midterms.

. the fact that we buy more product than any other country protects us to a degree.. Our creditors would be hurting themselves by pushing us into default. In the short term, balancing the budget or at least decreasing the yearly deficit, in part by increasing taxes on the wealthy, would be a step in the right direction. If all else fails, we have the dominant military institutions in the world, for now.

Is it the receivers or Brady
Joe Ferguson forever replied to BuffBills51's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's mostly the receivers. They scare no one. Coleman was a bad pick. Maybe they could try Hairston at WR. He can catch and he has elite speed. Desperate times call for desperate measures. -
The chiefs are 5-4. I doubt they're considering firing Reid and whoever their GM is. I think McD and Beane are safe. And they should be. The roster is comparatively weak. Mistakes were made but we've been a league power for 6 years running. The holes can be filled.

Affordable Care Act or Obamacare

he's had ample opportunity. He's repeatedly promised an alternative and has yet to provide a plan. -
Affordable Care Act or Obamacare
Joe Ferguson forever replied to Another Fan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
yes, exactly. We used the exchange for 3 years. It was much more expensive to keep the crappy coverage had with our last employer or buy anywhere outside the exchange. Many self employed people use it for this reason. Also, many people currently using the supplements may just go without insurance, pocket any money meant to go to it and endup costing everyone when they have a catastrophic illness. Remember who tore down the individual mandate that the original ACA required in order to spread risk? -
Affordable Care Act or Obamacare

So the average Joe will have money left over after paying for a $100k heart bypass or paying for similarly priced cancer drugs? Not a chance. Nothing improves unless limits are set on healthcare pricing. People will still go bankrupt trying to pay for medical expenses, probably more often than now. -
And why should we trust trump to “get renegotiating”? He’s stonewalled repeatedly at the expense of the American people. He clearly wants to end market place insurance subsidies. And he’s not winning in the court of public opinion. Over 60% of Americans believe R’s are to blame. It’s that 37% core MAGAs that don’t. We’re back down to the base which is very encouraging.

SNAP/EBT/Food Stamps
Joe Ferguson forever replied to SCBills's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It’s official. Trump is using poor Americans, many of whom voted for him, as pawns in his budget chess game. https://www.politico.com/news/2025/11/07/appeals-allows-november-snap-payments-to-continue-for-now-00643495 Same thing with air travelers. He cares nothing about regular Americans. Bondi is scum “Judicial activism at its worst,” she wrote in a post on X slamming McConnell, an Obama appointee. “A single district court in Rhode Island should not be able to seize center stage in the shutdown, seek to upend political negotiations that could produce swift political solutions for SNAP and other programs, and dictate its own preferences for how scarce federal funds should be spent.” -

This sickens me. Just another gangster in the White House mafia.
