  1. Defense has been good but we need a takeaway
  2. WR, OL, WR, OL, WR, OL That's the draft
  3. It's really hard to win a Super Bowl. Even one bad quarter in the playoffs can ruin it. Luckily ours was against a mediocre team. This team will play much cleaner against Cincy or KC but you gotta get there first
  4. Letting them casually return the ball 50 yards on the John Brown INT was an underrated terrible play
  5. Diggs might need 15 targets in the 2nd half
  6. Edmunds is playing like he wants to get paid. As much as I love him, Poyer is not
  7. The defense has been getting lucky today and that was pathetic
  8. Beasley was a good idea but just not sure it's gonna work
  9. Also wish McD had not mentioned this. At least make Cincy think he might play
  10. Yeah the idea of a scout team totally slipped my mind. My bad
  11. What is the advantage of opening his practice window if there is no real chance he plays? Sure it's important for him to get some practice reps in as soon as he can which will help next year but I feel like any practice reps he takes away from guys like Marlowe, Madsen, etc are more detrimental to the team
  12. Edmunds is worth a big deal but I fear we lose a bidding war in an open market. I think losing him would be a big deal and I hope he's back even if it takes $18M/year but I fear he goes higher than that especially if we win a Super Bowl
  13. If he truly has no chance of being cleared, I'd be disappointed that he was activated and taking practice reps from the guys that clearly need the reps. Not saying he's for sure playing but activating him as a feel good moment seems like a bad decision considering the time of season and lack of experience in the secondary
  14. For my stress, I would want an easy path to the Super Bowl but my ideal scenario might actually be beating the Bengals and Chiefs along the way. And beating them badly.
  15. I'm sure the NFL wants Bills vs Bengals but the league has to hate that Lamar and Tua are out and essentially making two playoff games totally non competitive. I mean that's part of the price you pay when you expand the playoff field and add a 17th game but 3 of the 6 games this weekend may not be within 10 points and one is Daniel Jones vs Kirk Cousins. Not sure what they can do to prevent this but this is kind of an unappealing playoff weekend if you aren't a fan of one of the teams
  16. Isn't Mayden (guy we got off Jets practice squad) on the active roster? Seems like he'd be the cut if Hyde comes back. I don't think opening a roster spot is much of a hurdle
  17. Miami will clearly do whatever they can at this point to keep the Bills offense off the field. Lots of runs, screens, jet sweeps, etc. For them, a 6 minute drive that even ended in 0 points is going to be a win on Sunday. They have to hope this is like a 17-10 game in the 4th quarter. If they fall behind by 14+ early, this game could turn into an all-time rout
  18. Yeah I think the Chargers may have a legit shot in that game. They are a team where you never know what you'll get on any given week and the offense is not as good as it should be when you consider the skill players they have but that defense is nasty with Bosa back
  19. We'll see what happens in practice but if Marlowe or whoever is going to play the whole postseason, he needs as many reps as possible. If Hyde is coming in and taking reps, the team clearly feels like he has a chance to play and play a big role. I have no concerns about his ability to jump in and play after so much time off. And just him being out there next week will give Burrow and the Bengals something to think about it at least to start. As far as Crowder goes - man that is going to be a tough role to step in to but you're asking for a lot less out of that WR than you would be asking from Hyde
  20. Obviously my only hope is to win the Super Bowl but this is a fun topic so here are my 10 hopes other than winning the Super Bowl 1. Playoff Josh - which also includes averaging less than 1 turnover per game throughout the playoffs 2. Cook gets 12+ touches per game 3. Deep ball offense is here to stay but we don't get attached to it 4. Rousseau moves himself into the elite competition with a dominant playoff run 5. Highmark Stadium is the hardest/loudest place to play this postseason 6. We stop letting teams march down the field on the opening drive 7. Elam plays more than 60% of the snaps 8. Romo continues to make his love for Josh known to the world 9. Get off the field on 3rd and long 10. Tre White gets a pick six
  21. I'm hoping that Davis is still a little banged up and that Allen's elbow took away some other chances he had this year and that we can extend Gabe on an extremely affordable deal and he blows up next year when everyone is healthy and all of a sudden we have a stud #2 WR on a #3 WR deal. Back as I come back to reality, I just hope he scares the Chiefs and Bengals this postseason and Diggs, Knox, etc dominate underneath
  22. A 30% Micah Hyde might be an upgrade for us. I hope it's about him but these things never seem to be what people think they are and really never seem to be that significant at all. I could see it being something like Hamlin is getting a Pro Bowl invite or the Bills are giving out #3 shirts at the game or something. I would assume the gatorade comment refers to dumping gatorade on the coach at the Super Bowl though so maybe it is big
  23. Like others have said, the only thing that could go away is trading a ton of draft picks and then giving that QB a megadeal The Bengals will be interesting. Burrow and Chase may eat up the most cap space of any QB/WR combo ever. They're going to have some tough decisions to make elsewhere and they'll have to draft well. Which unfortunately I think they will
