Agreed. And our luck needs to continue. Specifically, our O-Line has been REMARKABLY healthy, gotta have that for another year IMO.
Also, the luck on turnovers would be great to have a gain, but not sure how repeatable that is.
How do you count passes behind the line of scrimmage? This is a dink and dunk, run first offense with Josh making off-script hero plays. Not a high-octane passing offense by any stretch of the imagination.
Don't disagree, but "if" the offense is going to be run centric? It 100% has been under Joe Brady. Look at that "top 2 QB's" passing numbers last year:
Passing Yards - 14th
Comp % - 24th
Attempts - 14th
Yrd/Completion - 9th
Passing TDs - T7th
Joe Brady is a "run first" guy. Or at least he has been to this point.
Josh Allen 2024 Salary Cap Hit - 30 million
Jalen Hurts 2024 Salary Cap Hit - 13 million
That's a lot of extra benjamins the Eagles had to spend on defense.
Agreed, I don't know how you can go into the season banking on leading the league in turnover differential again. I think that's what many fans aren't appreciating enough, just how much the offense benefited from the turnovers.
I don't dislike Beane, at all. But it does make me wonder, is he, or really any GM, much better at the draft than a random number generator would be?
Put another way, what percentage of the draft is luck vs skill?
All true... but conveniently ignores the fact that the Bills defense DID generate a ton of turnovers, resulting in the offense having the best starting field position in the entire league. Gotta think that helped them score all those points...
