  2. I don't identify as a member of Bills Mafia. I refer to myself as a "Die-hard Bills Fan." Most of the time I like to use a squeegee though sometimes it's better to use a good stiff bristle push broom. I understand having to change the last name but why did he choose Coldfronts?
  3. Now they're gonna have to make Tuna Salad out of chicken scratch.
  4. The squished fish special: Tuna Tagovailoa Served on a chilled dish
  5. Pretty sure Tuna's not gonna play. Didn't Kelso play part of his career wearing something like this? Tuna should consider wearing one too:
  6. Hopefully they don't play this song pregame...
  7. Not only weather but also I think the number of highly-publicized complaints about the playing surface at Soldier Field disqualifies it as a potential neutral site.
  8. We're playing the Dolphins this weekend? Is Don Shula's steakhouse still open?
  9. I wonder if Dorsey's Miami Meltdown did anything to damage his viability as a head coaching candidate this offseason. As far as if he moves on, don't forget the Bills have 4 former Offensive Coordinators still under contract, Rob Boras, Joe Brady, Mike Shula and Aaron Kromer.
  10. As others suggest there's good reason to believe that when consulting the teams, mental health experts, league officials, etc that there would have been resistance to postponing the games for only a few days. I think the only way it could have been continued/replayed is if there was a significant amount of time between the original and postponed date... for instance after the week 18 games. Nyheim Hines 2 return TDs were a godsend because I believe a lot of what I was seeing yesterday was an emotionally exhausted Bills team. JMO. That's why I wrote "Apparently the logistical/financial dominos were too inert."
  11. Agreed on both of your points. If I were a Bengals fan I'd be sorely upset about playing the Bills in Buffalo on the heels of the compassionate cancellation. Also I thought the Bills-Bengals would be made up either utilizing the 2 weeks between the championship games and the Super Bowl and/or pushing the Super Bowl back one week. Apparently the logistical/financial dominos were too inert.
  12. Cincinnati is playing against a BLT? Damn I guess I know who we're playing in the 2nd round. BTW where would Bills-Bengals be played? Is that also a coin flip game?
  13. You're comparing Mike McDaniel( ) to John Harbaugh?
  14. To the first bolded above, can you quote me where I was upset? To the second bolded, didn't I already say the biggest deal was the money raised? To the third bolded, please tell me what someone has to gain or lose by posting their name on a donation. Then tell me what a person has to gain or lose by donating anonymously? What is the motivation for posting your name when you can simply check a box and remain anonymous? Either way you get a receipt for the tax deduction. Anyways, no I'm not upset and I hope you aren't either. If you'd like to discuss this please PM me... I don't want to detract from this thread.
  15. Regarding the "5 minute warmup blame game, as K-9 and others have asked, let's set aside the pointless inquisition of fault. It's witch burning and it's speculative and serves no good purpose. We don't need a pound of flesh. Our world needs forgiveness and understanding. No individual or organization is perfect. The outpouring of humanity is the huge silver lining in this tragedy. It has helped restore my faith in my fellow humans. Awesome. And just two spots below someone made a $10,000 anonymous donation. Publicity yes. It publicizes those who made donations. PT Barnum would be pleased. Regardless of attribution, $5.5 million is an incredible number. I'm sure there are those who donated $30 knowing that it meant they'd go hungry for a day or two. Thanks for a much needed laugh.
  16. Yes, grief is one thing. Trauma (and PTSD) quite another. In the two Covid years the NFL had numerous games played on 3-4 days rest. Don't rule out the possibility of a condensed schedule. Some people prefer to donate anonymously... which is a GoFundMe option btw.
  17. There seem to be 3 major controversies attached to this topic: 1) Charity 2) 5 minutes 3) Logistics regarding game outcome/standings/playoff seedings 1) What people want to do with their money is their business. 2) We'll have more reportage (if not greater clarity) tomorrow as to what actually happened with the supposed 5 minute edict from the NFL. 3) This perhaps should be a separate topic. JMOs...
  18. Thank you but you're not understanding my thoughts. Based on the discussion here with the Scott and Simon, I think I'm going to wait to see if a fund is established for Damar. It's quite possible one will be established.
  19. Based on the discussion here with the Scott and Simon, I think I'm going to wait to see if a fund is established for Damar. It's quite possible one will be established. The game didn't start until 5:30... an average NFL game lasts about 3 hours. Then the team has to shower, pack, and go to the airport. At this time (11:46 pm) the team would normally still be at the stadium.
  20. There have been serious injuries during NFL games, Kevin Everett... Mike Utley... this FEELS different. No one is expressing their worst fears but that unspoken thought is hovering over this situation.
  21. I know... the Cheatriots* really, truly suck but sports is funny. Thats all.
  22. It's that time of the evening so forgive me... if we won all our playoff games and New England won all of theirs, we would meet in the playoffs, no?
