  1. Mazy Smith is a one-dimensional DT. Not a 3-down player. Most teams didn't even have a first-round grade for him.
  2. Would be nice, but I don't see it even a remote possibility at this point. If we wanted him in the second, I think we'd need to trade up, which I don't really see happening either.
  3. Who? Sounds like you've never watched any of Kincaid's film. I suggest you do before thinking any of the WRs still on the board when we picked were a better option.
  4. Bergeron is the best OT still on the board, IMO. I don't even think he gets to us at #59.
  5. You obviously didn't listen to Beane talk about the pick. I suggest you do. Kincaid and Knox aren't going to be in competition for the traditional TE spot because that's not the role Kincaid is going to play in the offense.
  6. Go listen to Beane talk about the pick last night and the way he will be used in the offense. Knox serves in the traditional TE role. Beane said Kincaid will be more like a Cole Beasley-type player, just in a different package. That means in the slot or even out wide probably at times.
  7. Not an accurate comparison. The only similarity between the two is they were both drafted as TEs.
  8. Beane already said that's what they're doing with him. He said think Cole Beasley-type in a different package. We need guys that can read a zone, get open, and catch the dang ball.
  9. Well let's put it this way...if he was as smart as he thinks he is, he'd have been in a team's war room last night making picks instead of complaining about who the Bills took on TBD. 🤣
  10. Why are you leaving Knox off this list? OK, and?
  11. So now you're contradicting yourself. You're saying there's no way of knowing what a player might turn into, yet here you are acting like you have Kincaid all figured out and he's a bust before ever playing a down.
  12. Beane specifically talked about this. He was saying in a traditional 12, we'd usually be met with a team's base D. With Kincaid on the field with Knox, that's almost going to force the D to play nickel. When you are able to force a D to play a certain way, that more often than not creates mismatches either against the pass or against the run.
  13. How do you know? I'll say it now...you're clearly already hoping he's a bust so you can gloat and say I told you so. Tell me why none of the other teams in the first round took Mayer either if he's the best TE in the draft? Dallas wanted Kincaid and then passed on Mayer.
  14. Tell me how many people care about Kelce's blocking? Zero. Kincaid is a better receiver. Period.
  15. Why is that? We need receivers that get open and catch the football.
  16. Mayer is a better blocker. That's it. We didn't draft Kincaid for his blocking ability.
  17. Beane flat out said they aren't going to be in 12 very often. He said more along the lines of an 11 and 1/2. The sooner people stop looking at this guy as a cookie cutter TE, the better, because that's not what he is and not what we needed anyway. We needed receivers who can run good routes, who get open, and who can reliably catch the football. That's what we got.
  18. And that just happens to be one area where Kincaid shines brightest. Watch his film...in the redzone, he's straight money.
  19. I would hope Beane is more worried about solidifying the OL rather than worrying about later round picks. We got Allen a new weapon, now we have to make sure the protection is there. I don't think Brown is the answer.
  20. I would love to get Bergeron, but trading up is the only way to do that. No way he's falling that far when he's the best OT left. I'm not OK with Spencer Brown there and I hope the FO isn't either. We already traded away the 4th round pick so we don't have much to work with unless Beane is willing to dip into next year's as well. Same, but I don't see how that happens without a trade up. WIth our 4th already being traded, that makes it harder.
  21. Listening to Beane, he's not really going to be used in a 12. Beane described it more like an 11 1/2. I didn't get to see a ton of film on him but just got done watching more. This kid's hands are incredible and in the redzone, he's straight money.
  22. Philly's D front is downright terrifying.
  23. Agreed, but putting all our faith in Brown scares the crap out of me.
  24. I was actually worried about Beane taking Branch. Seemed like a classic Bills FO move. Guess they learned their lesson we need weapons for Josh. What do you think our chances are for Bergeron in the 2nd? I don't think he's falling to 59. Worth trading up?
  25. Regardless of his blocking, big target with great hands and fast for his size, it's clear why he was on their radar. I honestly didn't think he'd really be an option for us late in the round. I think we snagged who Dallas wanted too.
