That absurd 25 game suspension has finally convinced me Brendan Shanahan is actually a robot. I always thought he might be based on the voice that is more monotone than Shaq, difficulty with mutlti-syllabic words, and complete lack of facial expression. But this has me feeling that someone hit the 5 button for suspension and accidently hit the "square" button before sending the announcement to the speaker in his face.

Their own app isn't heart as good as TuneIn Radio. Free app that allows you to listen to (most) any radio station in the country. I used it at work during the Mario Williams saga, 3 days straight and no crash. My fiance enjoys that she can listen to stations from her home town (Santa Barbara). Great app.

I agree with you at some level but the reason that hockey players are allowed to hit, fight, etc is because the are on skates. A fight on the ground (meaning basketball shoes and a court) is a street brawl. On skates, getting leverage for a punch that could do any real damage is difficult. That's one reason that once two fighting players fall to the ice (and thus gain dangerous leverage) the refs step in immediately. That, and the fact that NBA players are wearing gym shorts and a tank top. Hockey players are wearing 40 pounds of armor. I am not saying hockey isn't dangerous, I'm just saying its different. And also, if a hockey player did this, skates or no, he would be calling him a thug.

Caitie and I have watched 3 seasons of Rescue Me over the last month. It is now my 3rd favorite. 1) Sons 2) Dexter 3) rescue me. I love walking dead but I just said to her last week that I think I might stop watching for 3 years so that in 2015 I can waste a few weekends and get it all out of the way. I LOVE watching back to back to back.... to back. If I want to wait a week I can do that. Netflix is amazing.

The last episode of season 3 is the single best episode of television I have ever watched. And I sadly watch a full metric ****-ton of television.

So I sold my 2 ipad 3s (the "new ipad") for nominal gain. But right now I'm typing this on a blackberry playbook. This thing has better specs than the ipad2, just a smaller screen. It is $499 retail now on sale at most office depots for $199. Best buy will price match but they are mostly sold out. Great tablet for $200.
