Imagine you wanted to move to England and in order to do so, you had to spend years of your life, most - if not all - of your savings, and more paperwork and red tape than you can imagine. But you did it, and finally became a citizen of England. Fast forward ten years and you begin to see a ton of other Americans sneak in without doing any of the work you did to get there. They just snuck in, without the work or enormous expense, and are now a tax burden on you. How would you feel about them? You’d defend them just because they came from the same country as you?
