If the Bills lose agains the Colts they have no shot for the one seed and they may lose the division. That is how big this game has become because of Mac Jones.
-
We played the easiest schedule to get to 6-3. They played the hardest to get to 8-2.

Disagree. Defense travels and wins in the playoffs. Their DL is good. They missed the best CB for 4 weeks and he came back against NO and pitched a shut out. You're sleeping on them. Plus Henry is slated back week 17. Lis Colt to the ex Colt punter:

Henry still leads the league in rushing and he broke his foot against Indy 4 weeks ago. That is how good he was.

TN is pretty dominant. They beat great teams and now they are getting ready to play cream puffs like the Colts and Bills have to this point. I think they are beat Houston and I bet Vrabel puts it to BB. Their DL is playing out of their minds. 3 guys in the top ten.

I hate to say it … but the Pats are coming

Vrabel does. He has beaten NE the last three times they have played and once was in NE for Brady's last game as a Pat. Nov 28th Vrabel heads back to NE again to face the Pats. If TN wins that Pat game they are lock for the one seed. -

RE: On your Notes: A recent write up on TN secondary and why getting Fulton back has to help their run for the top seed sans Henry. They do talk about our CB as well. https://www.nfl.com/news/top-10-nfl-ballhawks-in-2021-kevin-byard-trevon-diggs-among-those-making-plays -
This thread has a lot of hopium in it. Bills opponents to date is .377. TN has played the hardest scheduled up til now. And they are 7-2. The remainder of their schedule looks pretty doable without Henry. And they have a buy week 13. Henry could be back as early as Dec 12 or as late as week 17. That puts him ten weeks from surgery. If they win the # 1 seed they will have Henry back with 12 weeks of rest. Every other team in the AFC has brutal schedules. Go look at them. NE has us twice in Dec. If they play well they could win this division and it is not out of the realm of probability that the Bills do not make the playoffs. They have to play better. The Bills are very unbalanced on offense. If Allen keeps having to run he is going to get hurt and then it is all over.

Henry will be back. Injury is 6-10 weeks. Earliest will be Dec 12 which is week 14. Ten weeks out is week 17, Jan 9th. He'll be back. If they get the top seed with him rested watch out. -
TN did not have Brown or Jones and were missing two OL and their best CB. They still went to OT with the Jets. NY Times Playoff Simulator puts the odds of a Titans #1 seed at 66% with a win over New Orleans this weekend. That is how big a lead they have. Their schedule was front loaded hard when Henry was killing people.

Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?

How big is it? If TN gets it Derrick Henry comes back with a full head of steam. Week ten of his recovery is January 9th which is week 17. The playoffs for him would start two weeks later and give him 12 weeks post surgery. If TN gets him back and has home field with that front four they are gonna be a tough out. -

TN not on that list is nuts. They now have a 2.5 game lead on the #1 seed. Ravens have three AFC losses. TN has one. -
I think we're kidding ourselves. NE is going to take the East back. They are more complete and Jones improves week by week. If they beat TN next week you'll see my concern.

TN plays NE in a few weeks. We may get some help from them. -

Henry comes back Jan 8th. That is 6 days after week 17. Henry will be back and rested. I doubt anyone will want to play them in January or Feb with a well rested Henry and a healthy OL. TN has had the most injuries to date in the NFL. Just realize who was their LT last night. Bobby Hart. And Vrabel figured out how to make it work. If you count TN out you're an idiot. -
Falcons trading Julio Jones to Titans
Bruce Smith replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look at the 17 opponent defenses TN will face and you'll see none of them can match up to what TN offense can do in multiple sets in 10 personal. Only Denver has the DBs to match up with them. They signed Josh Reynolds from the Rams and he is another big bodied WR. Reynolds, Evans (third down back) and Firsker are going to have a field day in the middle because they will be facing the best matchups week in and out with AJB and Jones being doubled. Then every DC has to decided how to play the S and LB against Henry. Their WR will dictate coverage and Henry will be a monster again. If he stays healthy Henry is going to get 2000 yds again. And for those here who think Tannehill sucks, over the last 24 games he is better than Mahomes in key categories with a lot less talent. People forget TN lost both starter in OT last year and Henry still got 2K. They also signed two more swing tackles and their OL is the deepest in the AFC. TN is the favorite now in the AFC. Their Defense has been completely rebuilt. Farley is the best cover CB in the draft and they got Jack Rabbit from NO and their second round pick Fulton from LSU missed 80% of his rookie year is set to be their third CB. They have Byard who is a stud and they drafted Molden (steal in 3) to replace Vaccaro. Now they are rumored to be going after Melvin Ingram at DE to rotate with Landry and Dupree. They signed Autry from the Colts to pair with Simmons who is already a monster. Their pass rush is way better already than the last two years and their offense is a lot better. Julio will draw coverage to make defending Henry near impossible in 3 WR sets. Adding Ingram to rotate in would be the finishing touch on a great offseason. How do you want to defend the Titans? https://twitter.com/TDavenport_NFL/status/1401611578911375369/photo/1 https://twitter.com/TDavenport_NFL/status/1401908408215814147/photo/1 Watch video to see how bad Tannehill has been. His numbers are better than Mahomes and Josh over the last 24 games. https://finance.yahoo.com/video/julio-jones-trade-transform-titans-132735543.html The board better wake up. TN is no joke. Jones makes their RB and 3 WR and TE all have one on one coverage because teams will be doubling Julio and bracketing AJB.
