This 100%. I wanted MCDummy fired before 13 seconds, that moment was just the exclamation point that he had to go IMO.

I would take Gruden Pederson or Kingsbury over McDummy, or better yet TRADE a some 1sts and/or 2nds to the Rams to bring in Sean McVay and a great offensive mind that will take advantage of Josh's talent. It's not like we get anything out of those picks anyhow from Beane.

That year is already WASTED under McD. Every year under McDummy is another year wasted of Josh's career.

Actually the bye is a perfect time to fire McDummy. Bring in an outside offensive interim HC.

That said, if that's what it takes to end the McDummy era I'm all in. AI can coach a better Defense than McDummy.

It was time to move on McDummy after 13 seconds happened. Every year since is just another year wasted of Josh's career. At this point I firmly believe he won't even sniff a SB under McDummy.

Growth from McD is pipe dream IMO. There has been zero growth in McD's coaching since he got here, and I highly doubt we'll see any sort of future growth from him.

I don't think any McD hater including myself is saying that, however, I strongly feel he should have been fired years ago, and every season with him is another year wasted in Josh's quest for a Super Bowl championship. McD reached his peak several years ago, nothing but regression since with the exception of Josh carrying the team on his shoulders. I would love to see McD replaced in the off-season with an offence focused coach who would let Josh be Josh and bury teams early instead of slow rolling things like McD does to protect his swiss cheese defences that absolutely suck in crunch time.

And therein lies a huge problem. Let JOSH be JOSH

I've been screaming this since before 13 seconds, but it's not going to happen. Unfortunately, Josh may never be able to overcome the coaching and defense handicap to even get to a Super Bowl, much less win one. This success of the team once again falls entirely on Josh's shoulders. McD and Beane would have been fired years ago if Josh wasn't carrying them and the rest of the team on his back.

Even if Beane went and got him a decent WR, McD and Brady would underutilize them and not scheme them into the playbook.

Sean can't coach anything but his crappy scheme which is too complex for many players to grasp, and as a result they always choose familiarity with the scheme over skill instead of scheming D around the talent of the players.

FAAFO I put this on Joe Brady for terrible playcalls. Sloppy, undisciplined play combined with terrible playcalls typically lead to this type of result. Is what it is. On to next week.
