Edmunds is really hard to judge for an average fan. He seems to never make a big play (sack, turnover, tackle for loss, pass defended). On the other hand the defense seems to take a step back when he isn’t out there. His role in McDermott’s defense seems to be to use his speed and size to lock down the middle of the field in coverage and then fly to the ball for support in running plays and short passing plays. I wouldn’t give him a big pay day and think what he brings can be replaced for cheaper than he’s going to get. Use that cap on the offense!

As long as it’s cold enough for the precipitation to not become rain, and the wind isn’t too bad, I think the Bills could still put up big points. I have a hard time thinking the Dolphins will hang with us. Especially after their performance at the Chargers last week. Their two scores were a complete fluke fumble recovery and a bomb to Tyreek where the DB fell down (would have been in position to at least interrupt the pass otherwise). Other than those two plays they couldn’t get anything going on offense, and the Chargers were missing half their starters.

If Elam doesn’t play this week I don’t really see how he plays again this year. He has the speed and physicality to keep up with Miami’s WR. Not sure how many times we have to watch Dane Jackson get burned to see something else. I guess the coaches prefer a player getting constantly burned vs a blown coverage leading to a big play/easy score.

I’m sure McKenzie knows this. He’s just a joker and doesn’t take anything too seriously.

I love Allen, but I’m getting GM Jack Eichel vibes. First he picks Dorsey and now he’s signing FAs. Gotta think a stipulation of this is Beasley agreeing to keep his dumb mouth shut. Hopefully he’s in good shape to move the chains, I have my doubts based on earlier this year.

Beasley will get open underneath, catch the ball and fall over. This is what he has to offer at this point. I can’t really see how that is an upgrade on Shakir, but I guess the coaches see them practice every day and know better than I do.

Beasley is washed. You could see it last year, where he had zero YAC ability. Coaches need to get over their rookie trust issues and get Shakir in the slot.
