  1. And, of course, the Chiefs never hold.
  2. Though the Steelers have already recovered one of their own fumbles tonight.
  3. Netflix. Though I wouldn't bother.
  4. Mind not even be a close ending. Maybe that will be less sickening than a blocked field goal or something like that.
  5. Feels like very early to use a timeout, albeit it's first half rather than second.
  6. I know it's Christmas but you're not expecting the Chiefs friends to throw flags against them, are you?
  7. Ryans basically stated Jackson was MVP in his pre-game interview, hence the bracketed "Hi DeMeco".
  8. They have nothing to lose so might as well go for it. But if the best Quarterback in the league (Hi, DeMeco) can't get anything out of him, I'm not sure what he's expecting from Stroud and co.
  9. I don't like the idea of the starters being given a collective two week break. If the Chiefs and Texans win tonight I imagine they will still start for at least a half against the Jets and maybe a quarter at Foxboro, but with a game plan even more vanilla than we saw last weekend.
  10. Thanks for that. I'll bookmark this for when he catches a last second Hail Mary for them against the Bills in the divisional round...
  11. I did wonder whether Mahomes might miss out on the Pro Bowl this year. There's a viable argument for the starter and two reserves for the AFC to be Josh, Jackson and Burrow.
  12. Get them to 3rd and 7+? Have you seen the Bills defense at 3rd and long? They'd be better off allowing them 3rd and 2.
  13. That's the issue with being British - sometimes overlook the timezone difference. They could have the AFC North games at 1pm, as you say, then the play off match ups in the late slot? I agree, if the one seed is in play, then the games involving the Chiefs and Bills will be late Sunday.
  14. On the basis all those with the better records win in the lead up to week 18, or the home side where the records are identical, which rarely happens (I mean, I think the Bengals will beat the Broncos)... Sunday Night Football has to be Vikings at Lions, in a winner takes the NFC North and the first seed. Nothing that happens elsewhere will have an impact on the game. Seahawks-Rams on Saturday night with the winner taking the NFC West. I'm not sure if that's a possibility should both win in week 17 or if the Rams claim the West on tiebreaker if they beat the Cardinals. Saints at Buccaneers as the early game? If the Bucs win, they would take the NFC South in this scenario. If not, it opens the door for the Falcons. The AFC play off battle (games involving Broncos, Colts and Dolphins) might get the 1pm Sunday slot, with the AFC North taking Sunday late.
  15. Thanks - that makes more sense.
  16. Why have they moved Titans and Jags to 4:05pm? Simply on the grounds they didn't want to move the Bills again? I think they already had Browns at Dolphins in the slot; I would have just stuck with that. Edit: Just noticed CBS have Panthers at Bucs. I'm surprised they didn't flex that before Titans at Jags.
  17. I don't like the idea of facing the Ravens full stop, let alone having to travel to Baltimore to do so. Any upper hand the Bills can have, take it.
  18. Not if the Ravens beat the Texans, as they'd still be in the hunt for two. The Bills would have to beat the Jets to lock in the second seed in that scenatio.
  19. Haven't most of us been saying that about the Chiefs since the start of the season?
  20. The Eagles lost Hurts to concussion. If he had stayed in the game they would have probably won yesterday.
  21. Yes. I don't know why they abandoned the run game so quickly. In Josh's defence, watching back without the emotion of the moment, he wasn't as bad as the passing game as it first appeared. Shakir and Cooper really dropped balls they should have had caught. But then, were throws and catches off due to the cold weather making it hard to handle the ball? And, if so, why wouldn't the run game be utilised? Brady has called so well over the past couple of games but yesterday was baffling. Though, as I say, if Shakir and Cooper had caught those balls would we be saying that?
  22. Not if the Ravens beat the Texans. If that happens the two seed is not locked up.
  23. After the limp performance yesterday, I'd prefer to have something to play for in week seventeen to hopefully get past the malaise.
  24. He's good. But the Bills made it very easy for him yesterday.
  25. I'd put the Broncos and Dolphins before the Colts. And would only want to face the Colts before the Steelers if the latter's defense is still decimated with injury. Taylor's run game could easily turn the game into a shootout.
