  1. Some evidence but not peer reviewed or confirmed - they're taking a gamble to get the games done.
  2. Exactly. They're more desperate to play the games than protect people because Omicron seems to be less severe, though I don't think there's any proof of this at the moment either way.
  3. Despite the stats saying otherwise, the Jags are worse than the Lions.
  4. https://www.nfl.com/news/new-covid-19-protocol-to-feature-targeted-testing-of-fully-vaccinated-players-st Apologies if this has already been discussed; I had a look back to yesterday but couldn't see a thread. Should reduce the chance of postponements but will certainly allow Covid to spread more freely amongst the players. Will it make the non-vaccinated players consider having the jab, as they could be lined up opposite those who have Covid but not showing symptoms?
  5. If the Bengals and Ravens win then we'd need the Browns to beat the Raiders to keep hold of the seventh seed. If both the Bengals and Ravens lose we'll be sixth seed. If the Bengals and Browns win then we fall to eighth unless the Ravens lose.
  6. Interesting point in commentary; why didn't Harbaugh take timeouts to give the Ravens offense more time at the end of the half?
  7. Happy with the win but less confident about next week than I was four and a half hours ago.
  8. We win out and we're in the play offs - as simple as that. We do anything else and it does get more complex.
  9. Huntley at QB, Jackson at RB?
  10. If the Packers beat the Ravens we'll be seventh seed still, even with a Bengals win. Thoughif the Browns beat the Raiders we'll be back out again!
  11. Isn't that a positive though? Josh did all that whilst not being at his best. It says what kind of QB we have on our roster.
  12. Anyone want to decipher the Ravens play call there?
  13. Not so fussed about the number of yards. That interception was daft and there seemed to be communication issues between him and the other WRs at times. It happens; people are allowed to say Josh wasn't at his best (and it says a lot that he wasn't and still threw for three TDs) without being drawn into a disagreement all the time. He's human - like everyone he'll be better in some games than others.
  14. Green Bay looking to provide competition in regards to missed tackles.
  15. That was tough for a 31-14 win! Worried about Josh; hopefully he's got a down game out of his system ready for next week (and we still scored four touchdowns). The trenches will kill us this season though - that and the inconsistency.
  16. Right decision in the end though; he looked short from the TV footage.
  17. 31 and we haven't been on fire in this game.
  18. 3rd and 54??? Blimey, we've been dreadful!
  19. We've scored 24 against a decent defense? Have to question how our defense is making Cam Newton look like the QB of old.
  20. Almost like he might be hurt. Anyone heard if he's got an injury?
  21. Would you say the team that played the second half at the Bucs last week could win at Foxboro?
  22. He clearly thought he didn't so I prefer him to accept the sack then mess up a throw. Maybe in hindsight he did have time but the decisions aren't always going to be right. Maybe the INT in the second quarter made him a bit nervous about getting rid of it.
  23. Prefer him to take the sack then throw an INT.
  24. Feel for Brown but he has struggled today. Sure he'll bounce back.
