  1. That was one of the most boneheaded plays I have even seen. Dreadful decision making, awful throw. And this is why I would have felt more comfortable had the Pats beaten the Colts. I'll feel happier if we win at Foxborough, though.
  2. We shouldn't be in a position where we have to rely on other teams - not with our schedule. We fail to make the play offs, it's no one's fault but our own.
  3. The Raiders are dreadful - how have they won six?
  4. Can the Raiders not hold on to the ball?
  5. Thought that was good defense, to be fair.
  6. If the Jags can beat the Bills, the Texans beat the Titans and the Lions beat the Cardinals then anything can happen.
  7. The franchise medical team I presume? They're not going to want players with symptoms hanging out with the rest of the roster.
  8. Other than the Packers, Chiefs and the Colts (the latter two started slow) I haven't really been impressed with any of the teams this year.
  9. Carr did well to get the ball away but that was not DPI.
  10. Vaccinations don't prevent the disease, just the severity, and Omicron is more prevalent than Alpha or Delta. Not sure when the NFL is introducing the non-testing protocol for players who have been vaccinated; there are apparently 50+ players who tested positive today - are they all non-vaccinated, all showing symptoms or is the protocol not in place yet?
  11. 18 players absent, 8 of whom are starters they said just before the game began. 7-0 Raiders.
  12. It's only because Peter King mentioned it on the UK television coverage that I double checked it hadn't been mentioned then posted it; the NFL seem to have done a good job of slipping this out under the radar.
  13. Thanks - somehow misread the predictor!
  14. If scores go as suspected, the Ravens aren't really an issue for us - win or loss for the rest of the season. The Browns and Bengals are the bigger threats if we lose next week. ETA - I take it back; if they lose to the Rams as well then we can pip them.
  15. For purely this week, if the Ravens win then the Bills will stay as seventh seed if the Browns also win. If the Browns lose then the Bills drop to eighth.
  16. The Packers somehow down a defender when trying to protect the red zone.
  17. And if the non-vaccinated players have to be tested daily; if they test positive I think they'll have to go onto Covid protocol even if they're asymptomatic.
  18. Hardly - even if we lose at Foxborough we still have a decent chance to make the play offs.
  19. Yes, we certainly benefited from decisions this week compared to last.
  20. Matt LaFleur used the challenge flag brilliantly just then.
  21. I guess it's down to the individual. In the UK, the advice is to fo a lateral flow test everytime you go somewhere or meet somebody; if you test positive isolate and get a PCR test. Not sure how different it is in America. They'll be hoping they don't show any symptoms then!
  22. I'm currently watching the Packers at the Ravens... maybe?
  23. I want the Ravens to lose but they're having a tough time of it from the officials.
  24. We know what it's like to be the Cardinals at the moment - we went through it after the bye! Actually, as they're in a better position than us, it might not be as bad for them.
  25. But they will be more suspectible to a disease that spreads far easier. More likely than not, they will be asymptomatic or just get cold-like symptoms but will they take that risk? I reckon they'll dismiss cold-like symptoms as a cold rather than testing, so it'll only be coughs/change of taste and smell/fever that get tested.
