  1. Which would perhaps be a savvy move had they not drafted a QB less than 24 hours ago.
  2. The downside is it feels like NFLN have shown more interest in the fourth and fifth round than they usually do, probably because of Sanders' presence in the draft. Now, they'll just ignore the majority and do other things - like the obsession with Sanders means McWilliams has been ignored completely.
  3. WTH are the Browns playing at? They drafted Gabriel yesterday.
  4. They don't have 169 anymore. Though 170 would carry a similar weighting.
  5. 170. Sam Howell traded from the Seahawks to the Vikings.
  6. As someone else said a few minutes ago, the offense worked on otherworldly play from Josh, the O Line and Cook having a career year. They also managed to reduce turnovers to an amazing minimum. That is likely to regeress at least slightly to the mean next year. That means more players need to come to the party. Outside of Shakir, and even he had a slight decline at the tail end of the season, I have little faith in the WR room as it stands. The Bills need something different in there.
  7. Couldn't stop them drafting a WR, but could have prevented them drafting Royals.
  8. This. Unfortunately, the trade gave them Mahomes but the Bills were not in a position to support him at the time, and he probably wouldn't have developed to the same extent. The Worthy trade, on the other hand...
  9. Horton.
  10. Despite of the WR room, not because of it.
  11. Just watch the Ravens draft Horton.
  12. The Chiefs drafting someone to help Mahomes? Don't see the logic myself.
  13. This would be getting the original pick back.
  14. Cook at times aside, Josh carried the offense last year. And the Bills have not really improved on it. At some point he needs support, not just expected to be otherwordly year after year because McBeane cannot get enough of their never ending draft picks on D to work. I'm fine with the first three picks being on D. But something different at WR is required, and that was the chance to take it. Perhaps there will be a minor miracle and someone will still be available in the fifth.
  15. That's a nice moment for Sorrell.
  16. Perhaps he lacked faith in himself, and thought he had more of a chance to be chosen this year compared to the stronger QB draft (on paper) next year.
  17. It was the same for the Eagles. Well, from Australia, but the point stands.
  18. They could draft Ewers.
  19. Josh was performing, with a helping hand from Cook. It'd be nice to give him something different in the WR room.
  20. In that case we may as well all ditch the thread and not discuss the draft at all.
  21. And the WRs and TEs are being carried by Josh. Shakir has potential to be excellent but beyond him, there's a bunch of mediocrity. Perhaps I'm being slightly harsh on Palmer but I can't see many teams looking at the room and wanting any of them, possibly Khalil aside.
  22. You mean what on Earth are the Bills playing at if they release Vigil or Shavers?
  23. Same. I had no issue with the first three picks. In isolation, I can see the promise from Walker. But I really wanted Horton or Royals after trading up. The WR room is weak for a SB contender and, whilst I accept a fourth round pick may not move the needle massively, they can still offer something different to who is already there.
  24. Josh was playing out of his skin last year to keep the Bills in. It's not unreasonable to expect he may regress slightly compared to that. At some point, he needs support from the WR room. The Bills need to try something. I hope Simon's right, and there's maybe a trade or FA lined up.
  25. I wasn't complaining about smaller DT. Outside of Josh and Cook, if he isn't sulking, the offense is average at best. They're hoping Shakir continues to grow and Kincaid/Coleman recover their pre-injury form. If they don't...
