  1. If it’s about the Bills at all. Someone said earlier it could refer to his brother’s situation and they have a point, even if I responded bluntly at the time. Agree, if it is about the Bills, then Diggs is on a one man bridge burning mission.
  2. It’ll bound to be the wrong size or something. Diggs will post something cryptic on social media in response.
  3. Again this is all supposition that Diggs is talking about Josh. If so, he could be thinking that Josh is making him look bad, or trying to make himself good, but over-praising the relationship whilst it’s in a bad place. Or Josh isn’t being completely honest about what led to the offensive issues at the end of the season, instead blaming communication. But, as ever, Difgs is so cryptic he could be speaking about anyone. And I doubt he’ll be allowed in front of a mic if he does turn up at training tomorrow.
  4. “I love Stef as a brother” or making clear there isn’t a personal issue between him and Diggs when Diggs feels there is? IF Diggs is talking about Josh. He may not be.
  5. In private, not in public, especially with the situation they’re in. Well, unless you’re the Royal Family. Even then, at least Harry is open with his loathing, instead of trying to create clues to a cryptic crossword.
  6. No, because that gives Josh a right of reply. Stringing it out means all the attention and speculation can fester and grow, which is what Diggs clearly wants.
  7. Know it’s been said loads of times already but the Bills cannot afford to trade him this year.
  8. Diggs craves the drama - always has. He loves the attention and the spotlight shone on him. You’re right, more fool us for giving it to him. *Refreshes page five times in a minute at approaching 1.30am*
  9. McDermott only said he was ‘concerned’ but then his agent did state he wanted clarification on that statement. Josh spoke more openly about the situation. Diggs needs to come out and just say it now. Too much underhand stirring and not enough getting on with what he’s paid handsomely to do.
  10. All McDermott said was he was ‘concerned’. Josh went into it deeper. Feels like it’s directed at Josh for that reason. Good that Diggs is still revelling in talking in riddles rather than just coming out and saying it.
  11. That is the odd thing. Rule 101 - don't make internal issues public. Yet that's what McDermott did. Beane has always been more comfortable in front of the press and this another example. McDermott should have just said we're in communication with Diggs and understand why he isn't here today, then no commented the rest. At least it then wouldn't have blown up publicly with his agent, and Josh could have followed the same line.
  12. And it was Diggs who put Josh in that position. Not McDermott. If he had turned up at mandatory's then the questions wouldn't have been asked.
  13. This just shows that Josh is being too serious. Or too goofy. Or too busy having fun with Hailee Steinfeld to concentrate on the Bills. Or is going through counselling with Diggs and is venting with this comment. Or something. It's not good whatever it is. Think it's time to panic... 0-17 incoming?
  14. The writing was on the wall when Josh picked up the injury against the Packers. The Bills were wobbling heading into Thanksgiving, particularly in offense.
  15. Exactly. @Einstein - if we could redo the draft, should the Bills hold back on trading for Diggs and aim for Jefferson instead? Even with the benefit of the hindsight, I'm not sure. At Josh's stage of development, I think getting an experienced number one WR through the door was key. Jefferson did hit the ground running, in some ways literally, but that was with a, yes, less talented, but more experienced QB.
  16. Part of me thinks the Bills were so drained physically and emotionally that they would have still lost to the Jags. Maybe something like 17-10 rather than 27-10, but still a defeat.
  17. My issue isn't necessarily getting Hopkins; it's that the Bills still lack a 1B or number 2 option at wide receiver. Yes, maybe someone could come through, but having an experience body who can draw attention away from Diggs and give Josh another option will go along way, unless Dorsey can get Josh to use the TEs effectively.
  18. Think I disagree - he wasn't good but there were signs that he could improve into a decent guard; signs which all but disappeared last year.
  19. Brown was worse last year than 2021. I don't think anyone minded him coming back after his rookie year but certainly something wasn't right last season. They're seemingly gambling that he'll improve now the injuries are out of the way.
  20. But probably the right approach at the time. I'd love to switch offences/schemes for a game and see if Mahomes could do any more than Josh with what he's given - especially without the Kelce safety blanket and Reid play calling. Not saying he isn't a world class QB but he's got a world class team. Diggs for Jefferson was also probably the right call, even in hindsight. At that point of time, the Bills needed experience at WR, someone to help Josh along. We say 'Mahomes wouldn't have done as well at Orchard Park', but I don't think Jefferson would have done as well here either.as number one WR. Now Diggs AND Jefferson, on the other hand...
  21. And Hopkins is hardly going to sign the first contract put in front of him.
  22. OK, no bye, but the Bills faced Miami's third choice QB in the Wildcard and limped past them. The best performance in the play offs in recent years came at Arrowhead. Yes, getting first would be great, but perhaps I'm not setting as much by it as some.
  23. Hosting the Bengals really helped the Bills last year...
