  1. At this rate, Knox will be joining the OL whilst Kincaid acts as TE.
  2. I do agree that the injury has really affected his progress.
  3. Brown hasn't really looked right since we drafted him - can be a turnstile more often than not.
  4. We've had at least one blowout a year under McDermott. 2017: 47-10 v the Saints/54-24 at the Chargers/23-3 v the Patriots 2018: 47-3 at the Ravens/22-0 at the Packers/37-5 at the Colts/26-5 v the Patriots/41-9 v the Bears 2019: 31-13 v the Eagles 2020: 42-16 at the Titans 2021: 41-15 v the Colts 2022: 27-10 v the Bengals (arguable whether this was a 'blowout' but it was a horrific performance)
  5. I said that in the game thread and got criticism for it, but think you're right.
  6. 41-15 at home to the Colts in 2021?
  7. He hasn’t had that truly terrible game yet???
  8. Move on and just have a look at Kincaid’s best bits on YouTube/Twitter (as was).
  9. Seem to have at least a game a year where a team wants it more than the Bills. At least this happened in pre-season.
  10. It’s unusual for them to be blown out in pre-season. Yes, they lost something like 21-0 to the Panthers last year but I think that was with third stringers and those cut from the roster. Before that, any defeat was a close one. But there’s been at least one blow out in the regular season every year since McDermott arrived, up to last year, where it came in the play offs. Maybe this year it has come in pre-season. Why they seem to have this nightmare at least once a year is anyone’s guess.
  11. The Chiefs, the Bengals and Josh are the targets in the AFC. I don't think the rest of the Bills roster (maybe Diggs and a fit Miller aside) is held in the same regard, mainly down to the performance against the Bengals last year.
  12. Agree with this. I'm even tempted to put Josh out there for a series or two to see if he can build any kind of trust in the (admittedly barely existent) O-Line. There were a couple of times tonight where he took off when he didn't need to. Then again, if he gets injured, we'd be calling out the utter futility of doing that.
  13. Same could be said for Blackshear, and the Panthers took him. One injury and a team may look around for a promising project they could mould.
  14. And will be taken off it by another team. See Blackshear.
  15. If we convert a Field Goal, without reply, it will be exactly the same score as the last competitive outing.
  16. As someone else said, the Bills tend to have at least one shocker under McDermott per season - 54-24 at the Chargers, 47-3 at the Ravens/41-9 v the Bears, 31-13 v the Eagles, 42-16 at the Titans, 41-15 v the Colts, 27-10 v the Bengals. I suppose we did lose 21-0 at the Panthers is our last pre season game in 2022 though, from memory, not even many of the seconds played in that one. Otherwise, never had a shocker in pre-season under him up to now. Maybe it's a good omen? Getting it out of the way.
  17. I think it's more desperation. The whole team hinges on Josh being Superman and, because he has the physical talent to match, the expectation ratchets up again and again. Even when he gets little support from elsewhere.
  18. Can you imagine the reaction if Josh had been paid like Jackson or Watson?
  19. Doyle has so much promise but so little luck.
  20. Ready for them. Though I would love to see Josh behind a decent O Line. Don't think this year will be the year.
  21. Trubisky went to be a starter. Then stunk the place out and got replaced by a rookie.
  22. My irritation with Josh - and I'm not saying that it's the case tonight - is that physically I think he's the best QB in the game right now. He has the strength, the speed, the eye, the legs. He's the whole package. But mentality lets him down. The O Line does not help. Neither do penalties, drops or play calling. But he seems to enter 'panic mode' more than other higher calibre QBs and that's the frustration. If he can sort it out then there wouldn't be a word in the dictionary to describe him as a QB. Otherworldly. As said, wouldn't say it was an issue tonight. Especially as he no doubt was under strict instruction to stay safe.
  23. Kyle's refusing to play - feels he has a better chance being QB2 by staying off the field. 😉
