  1. Tonight's the night - the season is prolonged with a win; it's over with a defeat. There will be clearer vision heading into the game against the Jets, where the Bills will return to this position with a victory tonight. If they lose, then IMO it's time to move on from McDermott and allow his replacement to have the rest of the season to make decisions for 2024. And as we'd need a DC in the interim, promote from within or ask Frasier to come back short term.
  2. Only if he'd have a positive impact on Josh being there.
  3. I know Josh is getting a lot of criticism for not being a film guy, but I'm starting to wonder if anyone at TBD is, for this very reason. It doesn't feel like the Bills try to target opposition weakness as much as they should.
  4. For me: Broncos - W Jets - W Eagles - L Chiefs - L Cowboys - W Chargers - W (both them and the Bills are so badly coached this could go either way) Pats - W Dolphins - L The Cowboys is the key matchup as it is a possible loss, and would be the difference between 10-7 and 9-8. The Bills are capable of a shock, and tend to play the Chiefs hard, so could be a surprise win there but not holding my breath.
  5. As much as I've been positive on this thread, at this stage I'd be delighted if the Bills were in a position to win the division heading to Miami.
  6. I didn't think serious discussions about trading Josh would take place without him even throwing an interception or overthrowing a receiver this weekend (yet).
  7. I love how Stroud is having a purple patch and people are already wishing we could trade for him. Josh has sustained his form over three years. Shall we see what happens across the season, and possibly with a different HC/OC before throwing Josh in the bin and sucking up to a rookie or someone in the draft?
  8. The concerning thing is it means the wildcard places could have quite healthy records as well. I'm starting to wonder if 10-7 teams may miss out. Similar to 2020.
  9. We get it - Josh is the worst QB in the NFL. Shall we get back to talking about the Sunday games?
  10. Agreed, but I thought the Steelers would beat the Packers. The Browns winning is a real annoyance. We're going to have to hope the North keep beating each other up.
  11. Not unless you think the Bills are going undefeated from now until the end of the season.
  12. For me, the Bills are a game down on expectations at the moment - the defeat at the Pats. Nine times out of ten, they'd lose at the Bengals. Nine times out of ten, the Texans would lose at the Bengals. I didn't expect much from the trip to the Jets (albeit if Rodgers was at QB), nor the London game.
  13. Both Bengals and Texans are on 5-4 now, and the Ravens are running away with the North. It's hard to pick a winner which would suit the Bills but, if I had to pick one, I'd say the Texans. Especially as the Bengals have the tiebreaker.
  14. Best result would be a Ravens win.
  15. Do we want the Browns to win? The Ravens going to 8-2 is better for the Bills than the Browns to 6-3, surely?
  16. Is QB decision making worse or defensive play better of late? Either way, watching Red Zone is making me feel even better about Josh.
  17. I'd prefer to get rid of McDermott, but the issue is he is both HC or DC. I'm getting to the point where I wouldn't mind Frasier coming back for the rest of the season and hiring an offensive minded HC to help Dorsey. If there are no signs of improvement from the OC under the new set up, move him on in the post season.
  18. *Looks at recent results and performances* No. No, he isn't.
  19. Sorry, was a rhetorical question - was meaning it to come across as annoyed with McDermott rather than anything against yourself. 😊
  20. In fairness to the original post you answered, if there was any time where it looked like Josh could hold it together in four successive play off games, then it was 2021.
  21. I presume the next question was "Why?" Did he have an answer to that or will he have to get back to us?
  22. If you think not then what should the Bills do?
  23. Why not blame Dawson Knox? I think everyone else has been so far.
  24. McDermott is tempering the offense to try and protect the defense IMO. I'm baffled as to why the first drive was executed so well yesterday and then the approach was abandoned until the third quarter.
  25. That's evidence of him not being committed to the Bills?
