Just because the offense was a mess tonight doesn't mean the defense isn't a serious issue. I trust, maybe with a new OC and one key trade (who then doesn't pick up an injury), the offense will sort it out. I think the issue with the defense goes far deeper. It's still a fact the D let the Falcons play down the field and get into scoring range. Which it seems to do all too often. I said during the game the issue with the D is it's too reliant on turnovers. Without them, it has little of note or benefit. In the stupid crazy world of sport this means the Bills will go to Charlotte and win in just under a couple of weeks.

You're right. But the Falcons would have been on 30 had they not turned down the chance of a FG in the first and, yes, thanks to a rare good ST play, had another blocked in the second. Then you're in shootout territory.

The big question is why is McDermott being ignored. He says publically "Don't be cute". And yet calls in key situations continue to be cute.

Though this is partly the point of the draft and SoS - to even the playing field. You have to have at least an extremely smart GM or HC to keep things ticking over. The Bills seem to have neither.

And Kincaid. Plus, unless Cook was injured, there's no excuse for what happened in the 4th.

And a Josh Allen problem. This isn't all on him, but he's bottoming out and exposing what a mess we have elsewhere without a QB playing at MVP level on the roster.

In the defense's defence they were probably burned out. Offense gave them nothing.

I don't want to make a Super Bowl with this offense. It's horrific. The warning signs were there from week one but most tried to ignore them.

Josh can hardly call out the coaches after his performance tonight. He has to take a share of the blame.

The whole team wilts when the pressure is on. And the blame should start at the top.

One thing McDermott highlighted from last week was stupid cute plays on offense. Did Brady not listen?

Have you watched Mahomes? He makes mistakes like Josh has tonight as well. We openly mock him when he does.

He can only do so much when the O Line disappears. They were great on the first drive of the half. Now they've disappeared.
