He’s either a genius at finding hidden talent or overpaying. If the later, the thing this kills is Jerry’s chance of winning long term against Philly 48’ers. I totally don’t get your point.

interesting that 3.3 drinks at Bills is #1 NFL but barely cracks the top 10 in British soccer

“Blitz” not a way to win but a fan fav one word analysis Can bills O be productive against an excellent DL/CB. Can Bills O take the short stuff 12 pack and do it patient/routinely. Bills will Double Wilson, block sides, and make them take 8 plays to score just 3

this is one of the dumbest takes around. Yeah, duh, I understand HOW he’s connected to panthers and giants. But it’s a multi billion dollar business. You don’t just pick your next door neighbor OR drunk uncle to do cancer surgery. You find the best available that you can afford. If it’s your neighbor or uncle? Great. I would hope you are looking wider than that!!!

It strikes me as disturbing that we can see Beane dealing so heavy with Giants and Carolina. 29 other teams. Suggests an awful blinders situation for seeing the entire league. WE shouldn’t be able to pinpoint ANY trends like that!!

I always think draft best available and then shuffle players scheme around. Boogie was poor shoe horn fit. i just can’t believe he was basically given away free. He’s not THAT bad.
-
I find it hard to believe there wasn’t another player on this team ranked behind Boogs. Bad news on a 2nd. Worse news getting 7th

This is a bad take on the forum. there are two points of view in this and two PR releases. But, basically, Touhys said they are rich but couldn't “adopt” an 18 yr old but wanted to look out for him (conservancy) On the other hand, Michael thought he had been “adopted” into a family and now emotionally feels cheated ($ is just a symptom and a side show)

Josh Allen: Assistant Offensive Coordinator?
Since1981 replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sure play scheme. BUT It would seem to me 17 is learning the sideline aspects, logistics, ops, execution steps. This can pay dividends week 1. -
They were very wealthy franchisees. Sean Tuohy does say at 18 yrs old there’s not much they could do. “ Tuohy says he was in no need of cash after he had sold his fast-food franchises for over $200 million.” https://www.tmz.com/2023/08/14/sean-tuohy-calls-michael-oher-claims-insulting-says-family-made-no-money-off-blind-side/

Bills have least player arrests since 2000
Since1981 replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stupid stats. Dumb take. Merely 13 arrests over 23 yrs separates top and bottom on rosters 90 people. First or last is statistically irrelevant. Only thing this thread proves? we need the season to start !!! -
Zero Bills Preseason Games on National TV
Since1981 replied to Mark Vader's topic in The Stadium Wall
“No national pregame” a total garbage take. Who cares. We have only three 1pm home games. Team has plenty of exposure. -
Jordan Phillips, I’m glad we got him back.
Since1981 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
He could do well for himself by staying home and jamming up the middle. It’s not in DE DNA but he could help both his career and team. -
I’m glad to see turnover at Bills business. It’s what organizations do. It is very unusual to see people say “despise” and “absence” working out agreements. Usually, “Hard negotiator”, “firm”, “difficult but trusted” he must have been a real d#ck to a sitting governor. Imagine what he is like to lesser peeps Terry has built many business now. He surely knew about construction overrun potential. It feels like a major personality conflict. If people lose trust between (“despise his tactics”)— it’s pretty hard to put that genie back in the bottle (see cheating husband divorce)

Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
Since1981 replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
Possibly secondary/CB marginally worse vs 22, 21. The notion of a lock down corner, not Bills. our starters have a few more years on the treads. maybe slow down-slide (e.g., Tre). A smart, flexible group but age is a factor in speeds and nicks/bruises -
What Would Happen if the Bills Cut Damar Hamlin? (Dan Patrick)
Since1981 replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall
And if he was somehow not a bills secondary fit, Bills would find an NFL HQ, team, non profit or some form of duties, prior to any announcement. It would be a very managed case. -
Perfect scenario for Ass Rogers. Hackett to blame when it’s bad and Rogers just ignores him if it’s good. Win win for Rogers give Payton credit for actually saying something substantive. Take that, HOODIE!

NFL teams are run like small business. They're not small biz anymore but still behave like them. I expect some blend of family to run "the family business". Mom & Dad totally love it. they've indoctrinated the kids, just like I did 😮 I'm sure the kids all have areas of skill, interest and there are plenty of roles. I'm sure they're all thrilled to see Mom getting closer to her passion!
-
I am sure being near the team, in the sunshine, hometown, with her kids was a great feeling. uplifting for her and family. “Mom, daughter, wife, loves the Bills and she got to be here and share with us”

I feel so bad for him. Just sitting there and some dumb ass rams into him. Poor guy.

"off field injury"--Sure hope it was not at the Folding Table OTA 🤣 These guys do have to get their $ fast!! (I never will understand Lamar taking that risk)

PFF Top 50 Players for 2023 - Josh Allen at 12, Diggs at 24
Since1981 replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s hard to see almost any one WR OL DL ahead of Burrows/Allen. i get that this isn’t a team MVP list. But if you were picking your team from pure scratch, Burrow/Allen over any WR OL DL
