  1. Only six times has the preseason favorite ever won a Super Bowl. Can the Bills be the seventh?

Mike Robb had Josh Allen as #1 on GMFB the other day. Cynthia Freuland named the Bills the #1 offense in the NFL. And, we’re starting to see people say that they’re the best team in the NFL.

I know that it doesn’t mean much unless they produce on the field but they’re such a complete team. Time will tell but I think they have a really good shot of being the seventh.

    Go Bills!

Happy for you and your son. I live in San Diego which is only a few hour from SoFi. I would love to take my 17 yr old boy to the game. However, the prices are unaffordable for me. Parking, uber, food, gas, and tickets are CRAZY high. I figure it would cost well over a 1k probably closer to 2-3k to enjoy ourselves. Sad state of affairs when the NFL has priced out average people from going to the games. Yet, owners and players get richer and richer. Just a little bitter about the whole situation. Sorry for the rant. Enjoy yourselves.

I didn’t know that you lived in San Diego. Me too, bro.

We’re tempted to go to the game as well. That said, I don’t know if we’ll be able to afford it either.

Have you ever been to a place called the Local in Pacific Beach?  It’s a Bills bar in San Diego.

Nope, Bills face AFCW next year and last time vs AFCW was 2020 and KC was in Buffalo. In 2023 it will be in KC.

@Mr Info is right. The schedule is already determined for years to come. It’s very balanced for everyone.

Also, it just seems like a lot because we’ve had two road playoff games in a row there. If you base it off of regular season, Kansas City was just at our place in 2020.

It’s not actually ‘nice’ in Buffalo -EVER! I’m a native. I know this. It’s why I moved away. June-Sept aren’t nice, they’re just not as horrible as the other 8 months.

RedZone is an absolute Must for NFL fans. Plain & simple.

Actually, ours has been and is this season waaay to early.  After the Bye, we will play 14 straight weeks to the AFC Championship. No team has ever won the SB with this long a stretch without a Bye.  juss sayin’🤷‍♂️

Which makes getting the #1 seed that much more important. Get that and you have another Bye.

Remember the days when we use to talk ourselves into thinking QBs likes Peterman could be starters?

    He’s probably safe.

I totally see your point and remember those days well.

That said, Peterman was never going to be a starter. Even though we were tricked by guys like JP, Trent, EJ or Tyrod, almost everybody knew that he wouldn’t be a starter.

He was so bad, that for once, not even us bills fans were tricked. 😜🤣

So you named him Fatty McButterPANTS, not Fatty McButterfingers?  Are you sure you arebthe King of Nicknames?

    Perhaps? 😜

For context, when I said that I was a nickname king, what I meant by that was that I give a lot of people nicknames.

I never said that the nicknames I give are good though. 🤣

    No Meatball?

    Mad Bomber

I just listed the ones that were in the article. Meatball wasn’t in there.

Speaking of Meatball, my personal nickname for Kyle is “Fatty McButterpants”.

He earned this nickname during a Dolphins game when he sealed a victory by securing a fumble. That said, the ball slipped through his hands quite a bit until he finally secured the ball. Thus the nickname was born. 🤣😜

You are correct! Also, you are correct about the Bermuda triangle.

    Way to go, bro!

  11. I read an article about Bills nicknames. I’m a nickname king so it was fun to read.

Some of these are very obvious, some not so much. Post your guesses on who or what the nickname is referring to. No cheating.

Also, for fun, give some of the nicknames you’ve given players over the years. Keep it clean. 🤣😜

Beane's whole draft was a master class. It gets better every day.

Which is kind of amazing, because this is a roster that has few real needs and not many slots for new players.  But I think we'll see at least 5 guys not only make the team but contribute in a big way.

    Hey Success! Thanks for sharing.

Good to hear from you. It’s been awhile. Always enjoy your thoughts and posts.

    Go Bills!

Probably, but I assumed OP was meaning like if after his time with Bills eventually landing with a different team and not drafted by a different team?

Idk, either way if it had played out differently and he was drafted by Pats etc, I feel he wouldn't be hated like Brady lol.

    Good clarifying thought, Sheneneh.

My OP was asking from the angle of if Josh was never a Buffalo Bill.

I'd have liked the Bills to have drafted Ben at the time.  However being accused of rape on 2 seperate occasions makes me glad he wasn't a Bill.  I don't know if the accusations are true,  but I prefer better conduct from players that represent my favorite team.  I like that Josh is more about spending his free time working on his game to get better and also improving his family's farming so they all benefit years from now as well.  He also isn't chasing endorsements but when one dies present itself he insists it also carries a charitable donation to the Patricia Allen Foundation.   WNYers are hardworking but very generous to causes that are worthy of that generosity and I like my teams to be full of players that share that trait.

Looking back at that draft wish we could have gotten Phillip Rivers I think he was a better fit for Buffslo and think that could have been a great partnership.

I see your point about Rivers but he wasn’t a realistic option due to how high he was drafted. Big Ben was though.
