  1. #1 in Arm strength

    #1 in Toughness

They said this about his toughness: “Josh Allen has averaged more than 100 rushing attempts per season through the first four years of his career, and while he has undoubtedly taken some licks, it feels he is more often the one delivering the bigger blow in a collision.” Love it!

He made the top 10 in a few other categories as well.

    Yeah yeah yeah.

Tua is incredibly accurate and dropping bombs to Tyrek, Mac Jones has lost the dad bod and now that Zach Wilson is hurt, tired old scrub Joe Flacco is "on fire".

Hey you got to make something up with each team so the over anxious Bills fan crowd has an excuse to worry about our division.

“Man, Mike White has looked good coming off the bench. Plus, we don’t have enough tape on him”

“Oh no, Tua completed one 18 yard preseason pass to Hill, watch out”

”Mac Jones is looking more Brady-esque this pre-season”

“Joe Flacco might be the new Joe Cool”

  4. Thought it would be interesting to look back.

    It was 2011.

    HC - Chan Gailey

    OC - Curtis Modkins

    DC - George Edwards

A few of the offensive players:

    QB - Fitz

    RB - Fred Jackson

    WR - Stevie Johnson

    TE - Scott Chandler

A few of the defensive players:

    DT - Kyle Williams

    DT - Marcel Dareus

    DE - Chris Kelsay

    CB - Terrence McGee

LB - Kelvin Sheppard (and people complain about Tremaine 😜)

This was the year that we started out 4-1 and beat the Pats in dramatic fashion 34-31. Most were thinking playoffs.

We’d go on to lose 9 of our next 11 games and we had a 7 game losing streak during that stretch. We finished 6-10 and our drought extends to 11 years.

By the way, we ended up losing to the Broncos in that pre-season game, 24-10.

We have it so good right now, Bills Mafia. Go Bills!

Extracurricular - Here’s a fun discussion. If you could pick one of our players from the 2011 roster to be on the 2022 roster, who would it be?

This is a difficult one. I think my favorite drought player is Kyle Williams. But, I think I’d have to choose Fred Jackson because I think our DL rotation this year is good and FJ would most likely help our running game be at another level this season.

Below is a link to the 2011 roster if you’d like to take a look at it to make your choice.

Greg, Joe on the extra point show was funny and said yesterday he’d rather have Josh throw an interception every throw than get any WR or Josh hurt.

Josh could intentionally throw a pick 6 to avoid getting hit and I wouldn't care. I get they need the reps especially with Dorsey calling plays, but winning in preseason is not a priority. I will start caring about wins on Sept 8 and not a moment before.

But…but…but our nine game preseason winning streak is on the line!!!

    I kid…I kid. 😜

  6. Kyle Brandt starts out by saying that McD is their #1 coach on GMFB. Way to go, McD!

Here's the discussion topics with Coach McD:

    Matt Araiza

    Rookie cornerbacks

    Josh Allen's expectations

    Turkey burgers

    His Hollywood doppelgänger

He's heard that Chris Pratt is a huge Bills fan

  7. McD wasn't my first choice when we got him but I'm so glad we did. We have a great one, Bills Mafia!

McD is starting his sixth straight season with the Bills which is the 2nd longest tenure for a Bills HC behind Levy. Yes, Lou Saban was here nine seasons but it was during two different tenures.

Thanks for what you have built, McD. You have produced a consistent winner. The process is paying off and Bills football is now must see TV. Now bring home the Lombardi!

    Go Bills!

  8. "Allen didn't have the most efficient passing numbers by most metrics last season, but the jaw-dropping eye test says he has become the position's most dominant all-around force with his big arm and powerful athleticism. He is still putting it all together at age 26 and there's every good reason for him to be the new NFL MVP favorite."

2021 key stats: 4,407 passing yards, 36 passing TDs, 15 INTs, 92.2 passer rating, 63.3 completion percentage, 60.7 ESPN QBR, 6.8 yards per attempt, 763 rushing yards, 6 rushing TDs

  9. Pretty cool stuff. I know he didn't but it would've been cool for him to retire as a Bill.

"...My favorite quarterback to watch is Josh Allen. It’s just–the game is not supposed to be easy, I promise it’s not easy to anybody who has ever watched me play. It looks like I have struggled to throw the ball 10 yards sometimes...Josh Allen is my favorite because he makes it look effortless.”

  10. “The deal is already looking more and more like a bargain for the Buffalo Bills before the quarterback has even begun playing the years in that extension as he is playing this season in the final year of his rookie contract.”

Mad props to Beane for getting this deal done at the right time even when some were worried if 2020 was just an anomaly.

Also mad props to JA for having the drive, desire and worth ethic to already make his extension look like a bargain, one he hasn’t even gotten paid for yet.

  11. The three they listed for us were:

    1. What is Tre'Davious White's timeline to return?

    2. How will the change from Brian Daboll to Ken Dorsey change the offense?

    3. Who will play opposite Von Miller?

Haack and Ford.  Maybe Ford to get to the PS, but e already know we have nothing with him, so take a shot developing another gem in the rough.  I’ve seen all I need from Ford.

    Hey MGK!

I know you’ve been back in the TBD fold for a little while now but it’s good to see you contributing as much as you are again.

Good to have you back on a regular basis, bro.

  13. 1. Limiting turnovers (surprisingly, he had a career high in INTs last season with 15)

    2. Better ball placement so his WRs will have a chance at a better YAC average

I love that he’s already one of the best (and is predicted to be in the running for MVP again this year) and he still wants to continue to improve.

The greats know that it not only takes a lot to be the best, it takes a lot to stay the best. Glad that JA has this mentality.

    Go Bills!

Off-season postings of old Bills’ games got me thinking about some wins that stick in my memory; many are from more than 50 years ago when I was a kid obsessed with the Bills.

1970 - Bills crushed the Patriots 45-10.  I had never seen the Bills dominate like that; I had been following them since 1968, so there you go. I still remember watching the game in shock as they piled up TDs (in black and white of course). That game just sticks in my brain.

Share your memories - the more obscure the game, the better!

One of the first games that came to my mind when I read your OP is December 1991.

It was Detroit at Buffalo. My dad got tickets for us and it was a treat to go because we didn’t live in New York. Buffalo was undefeated at home and just needed to beat the lowly and dome team Lions (it was cold and snowy on that day and should’ve been a piece of cake for us) to go 14-2 and 8-0 at home. That said, because they already had the #1 seed wrapped up they played their back-ups and lost by a field goal.

Per usual, Barry Sanders had a crazy escape on that day.

  15. Hey bills mafia!

My family and I are traveling from SoCal to upstate New York at the beginning of July. It’s not as glamorous as it sounds, we’re driving. 😳😱 That said, it will be fun.

I was curious, is there any special Buffalo bills places to see or experience besides the stadium? We’re just going to miss training camp and we’ve been in and seen the stadium many times.

I love being immersed in the bills because I’ve never lived in the area. So, is there a Buffalo Bills restaurant, a top-notch Buffalo Bills bar, a Buffalo Bills store (besides at the stadium) that has tons of bills merchandise, a place in the city or surrounding area(s) that’s just littered with bills stuff everywhere and pays homage to the bills,  a Buffalo Bills experience that’s in the city or surrounding areas? Or, whatever you can think of that’s Buffalo Bills related.

Maybe there’s nothing, but I thought I would ask. Thanks and go Bills!
