  1. How is making fun of her emails political? I'd make fun of anyone who repeats something seventeen times in the same email. It's hilarious, and has nothing to do with her being mayor.
  2. No, I didn't, but good retort. I'm probably too smoothbrained to comprehend it. And don't worry, you're in no danger of my associating with obedient bootlickers.
  3. Yes, I apologize for being much more stupid than you, but if you tell someone "you can say whatever you want, but if you say something we don't like, you will get disciplined" it gives the illusion of choice without actually giving you much choice. In this case it's "get vaccinated or not, your choice, but if you don't, you will be forced to face strict measures that you may consider unreasonable and will be constantly shamed by followers of Science (the religion) for being way dumber than they are."
  4. Follow me here, if the team and his teammates have a big problem with his stance, couldn't THEY deal with it? Don't treat me like an idiot just because I value personal choice, including how the team responds to Beasley. Also, if the vaccine is 95% effective or whatever, does that not greatly reduce its transmissibility, which is pretty much the only reason why it's caused this pandemic? Condoms may not be foolproof, but they have played a huge factor in the decline of unplanned pregnancies.
  5. The point was that people are acting like he made a choice to enter the NFLPA with this in mind. Up to like March of last year, restrictions like this would be inconceivable. I'm not contesting that he is bound by the CBA and NFLPA. It's a philosophical argument.
  6. Thought it was obvious, but the point is he didn't agree to this, nor did he have a say in its implementation.
  7. Haha woooow. Yup, you're on the side of the good guys! This thread is cancer.
  8. There's a legitimate debate about forced vaccinations in regards to public safety, but we aren't having it. What's the mortality rate threshold a disease has to hit? How infectious must it be? How effective is the vaccine? Instead, we shame people for not "following the science" and just doing as they are told. Just so I'm not accused, I have gotten my first shot (Canada sucks) and am booked to get my second but I will not be treating people differently based on whether they are vaccinated or not and I think people who do are gross. I sure hope this post isn't too political since this opinion is contrary to that of some moderators. This applies fully to Beasley's situation.
  9. Sometimes it amazes me how foreign empathy is to some people. Not everyone thinks like you, and not everyone values the same things you do. I hate to say this, but that doesn't automatically make them a bad person. Someone actually took Cole's stance, not on general vaccines, but on just this particular one and compared it directly to people who picket the funerals of gay people. Like, what?
  10. Subservience is a virtue, I guess. By "we will educate the players" they really just mean "try to force them to get vaccinated" Yes, let's get excited to cut our second best receiver because he wants to have a choice without being treated like a leper. Lunacy. I personally got the shot just so I can get my freedom papers, but just make the damn thing mandatory because it effectively is anyway. Your choice is get the shot and get your papers to participate in society, or don't and be cast out. It's not really a choice.
  11. Where is my animal fact, Billy?! Damn, Orioles fans chirping...literally anyone is hilarious.
  12. Right, I completely agree, but the Browns have a much better team surrounding Mayfield. If Eli Manning can win 2 Super bowls because of his supporting cast, pretty sure the Browns can too.
  13. Did you really just dismiss the Browns Juju style? That's so silly. I think they are being overrated, but they are still the best team in the AFC North and definitely not a joke.
  14. Why would you assume he'd revert back to 2017-2019 rather than continue from 2020? He might not be terrible, but I have no reason to believe that until he proves it. He wasn't injured, and he was awful whether he had a clean pocket or not. It's not "more than likely" a blip. It's more likely he just sucks.
  15. Tannehill is up there with Derek Carr as one of the most underrated QBs in the league. The offense will be really good, but people are ignoring that they lost Corey Davis in the process. Is Julio Jones so much better than Davis that it vaults the Titans into Superbowl contention? I don't think so. That's not even mentioning the fact that their defense is poop. I'm glad these guys left out the Titans. They are becoming annoying. Like I said, unless he's some kind of actual wizard, a coach can only do so much. You don't throw like 50 interceptions by accident.
  16. I am having a hard time understanding why so many people are predicting that Wentz will be good. It all seems to be based on playing again for a coach he likes? He was literally the worst starter in football last season, and that's a pretty weak argument for why he'll be better.
  17. Damn, the DL looks trim. No wonder they didn't draft a fat 1T. Well, he's been a huge mystery for a long time, and whether he plays or not has a big impact on our cap space.
  18. I think at least Hollister deserves his spot based on merit, regardless of his ties to Josh. I don't think Beane is going to let this team become the Lakers and promote LeJosh to GM2.
  19. Oh man, Mac and Cheese, how come I never thought of that? Get it? Because Mac is short for macaroni and it's also Mac Jones' first name? Such imagination, much wow
  20. I wonder if they will still have Colin Kaepernick rated above Josh this season.
