Given that this is so difficult to officiate, why not just remove the rule and let the game's meta evolve? It would at least be fair, and I don't think giving defenses a slight edge here will unbalance the game much for TV audiences.

Why is the NFL allotting super bowl tickets to players who didn't make the game? Are they trying to rub salt in the wounds? Any player with any sense of competitiveness/pride isn't going to want to attend. I'd rather Bills players sell their tickets, rather than attend and be seen enjoying the game. Very confused.

With all the Lamar Jackson apologists on other sites, I was pretty surprised when I pulled up playoff stats and looked at just how badly he's underperformed in those games. It's even worse than the eye test. Can't believe these same fans think Josh Allen is a game manager in the playoffs. I put together a graphic to compare.
