  1. I remember how the Pats* acted when upset the Rams in the Super Bowl. Cocky and classless ... oh yeah, thats right, he had never been there before. Holding Marshall Faulk was declared a legal play that day, and taping the Rams practice was later deemed ok by the NFL, I guess the Pats really are champs. NOT. I will always be happy that the Jets kicked the shi! out of the Pats*, right there in there home stadium.
  2. McIntyre should stay over Stupar. Corner could stay, especially if we lose Drayton Florence. The rest should be shown the door.
  3. New England can draft 2 good TE's in one draft and we have not drafted a good one in over a decade. Something is very wrong with that.
  4. They should be students of the game, but realistically they are not. Being a student of the game does not mean studying every player in the history of the game either. Young comes from the video game (Gen Y) generation and they entertain themselves in other ways. Talley needs to chill out. Young was born the year Talley was drafted. Talley was out of the game by the time Young got to high school. Talley made two pro bowls in 14 years and was never once a first team All Pro slection. He is not a HoF candidate. I like Talley but in this case I would expect some humility on his part.
  5. You are correct. We need a true TE that can block and catch. Nelson is a shakey prospect right now and he cannot block at all. What about RT? Are you ready for another year of Wrotto, Howard, Pears, or Wang?
  6. You can trade down a few spots and still draft Dareus.
  7. You need a pass rush and pressure to beat Brady, or Manning, or any of gthe best QBs. You can put the four best CB's in the league in Bills uniforms and with our pathetic pass rush they will have problems. Well, Brady is known to be awesome at reading defenses and beating the blitz. It takes continuous sustained pressure from the front 4 to get to him.
  8. Could easily purge a dozen from this group of underachievers. McCargo will be gone. Maybin looks like he is running out of time here. Possibly Whitner too. Prefer to do this once I see who we draft, who we sign, etc. I do expect a large number of them to be gone.
  9. Did you hear the announcers rambling on at the end about how the Jets did a bad job covering the onsides kick? Are you kidding me? The Jets covered it with ease. There was one Pat* near the ball and he had to wait for the lousy kick to go 10 yards. Once it did he left the ball and blocked a Jet, leaving the ball with 3 other Jets or an easy cover. I don't understand why Simms was trying to say that the Pats* did such a great job ... kissing their butts right down to the last play I guess. I was pulling for the Jets. I don't like them but I hate the Pats* more than any other team in history. I think Rex Ryan makes the games exciting and he has done a fantastic job getting his team where it is today.
  10. By getting better than the teams in our division. Playing in a tough division makes you better able to get through the playoffs ... if you are up to the challenge of making the playoffs. The Bills lost Super Bowls to the Giants, Redskins, and Cowboys. All teams from the same division.
  11. He was less than decent and is only playing due to injuries. That said, he was better than Green.
  12. Watch the tapes Super Bowl 25 and you will see many plays were Bruce Smith broke containment on the edge and gave up huge running plays on his end. He made the big play for the safety and then seemed to lose his focus on containment after that. The first job of a defensive end is to box in the run.
  13. Why do you think he is "saving face". The guy turn down the DC job at Florida to come to Buffalo. He might actually be well repsected by people who know the game? Edwards was a first year DC and he had the worst front 7 in the NFL to work with. They sucked at stopping the run before he ever got there and on top of that they ask him to switch to a 3-4. Here are your linbebackers - Chris Ellis, Aaron Maybin, Poz, Ellison and Chris Kelsey .. Good Luck Mr. Edwards!! Oh, and your best player Aaron Schobel, he retired. But don't worry we will give you Dwan Edwards, Andra Davis, Troup and Carrington. woo hoo!! Just maybe Edwards is a bright and talented guy that will learn from Wanstadt? Look at the Pats*. They lost both coordinators and their GM and they replaced them from within. good organizations grow talent from within, that includes Players, coaches, scouts, and front office.
  14. Well said. Lou and Cookie should be on the wall. I think they are more deserving than many of the others, even if their tenure with the Bills was short and often troubled. The 64 Bills may have been the best AFL team ever, although the KC Chiefs SB IV team probably is. He even sold Christmas Trees in front of the Rockpile before games.
  15. I did not get that at all. All I heard was that he does not listen to mock drafts and neither should we.
  16. I don't think there is any doubt that Fox did more with his opportunity in Carolina than Gregg Williams did in Buffalo. Fox's Coaching record. 17. I still hate the Pats* more. The Jets are actually funny thanks to their coach. I get a huge kick out of him and I enjoy watching the Jets and rooting for them to lose. Ryan adds a lot to the games. If we could ever get competitive it would be great playing him.
  18. Wow - good stuff. If he returns to form it will help us immensely.
  19. First round maybe ... #1 overall? No Way.
  20. What about Corey Louchiey?
  21. I could see Dallas wanting to trade up for the top CB in the draft, whoever that is. Not sure that Jerry's ego has much to do with that? Awesome. Can you modify this to find us Right OT sooner in the draft. Another year of Howard/Wrotto is not going to cut it.
  22. I think you can stop worrying about Seattle now.
  23. Kiper is in the entertainment business, not the scouting business.
