  1. It’s him or a CB 🤷🏻‍♂️
  2. Thanks @Virgil this is always a good time!!!
  3. With the 22nd pick of the 2025 Virgil Mock draft 3, The Los Angeles Chargers select Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri. The LAC considered Grey Zabel (IOL), Tyler Warren (TE), and Derrick Harmon (DT) here but the need and value make sense to go with the explosive and productive Burden. A 4.41/40 and at 6' 206, he has a nice combo of speed and power. In his last two seasons at Missouri he grabbed 147 receptions for 1888 yards and 15 TD's. In the ultra competitive SEC with less than stellar QB play and route diversity. His combination of yards after catch, hands, and elite separation adds another dangerous element to Justin Herbert and the rest of the Chargers offense. Along with Q Johnston and Ladd McConkey, he gives them a solid core after the departure of Josh Palmer and others. Although Mike Williams is back, Burden at #22 is too good to pass up. With the depth at IOL and DT in this draft they can grab a potential starter at G or DT with the 55th or 86th picks. @gonzo1105 and the draft host Green Bay Packers are on the clock....
  4. The LAC have a couple players on the board at #22 that they will take. If they are off the board they are open to a trade with the Bills. LAC 22 & 86 Buffalo 30, 62, 132
  5. Chargers Cardinals Falcons
  6. I don’t think it changes the Bills view on 30,56, or 62. If they see a value cb they are going to take one. I would say 85% chance. But it lessens the need for a second cb imho.
  7. I’m going to guess the AS post which includes agent names is very incentive based $$$. It’s additional depth at a position of need. Likely tells you they will take a preferred cb very early and don’t necessarily have to take another cb later. So not a dumb move depending on actual $$$.
  8. Good draft! Does anyone think Revel Jr lasts until 62? Do the Bills double on DT as a better option. Otherwise I would happy with this.
  9. Que Robinson -Alabama Edge/LB- 6’4” 245 primarily sat behind future NFL players. Originally a S, long wingspan and likely situational pass rusher to start. Needs to improve his run defense. But 4.6 40 and explosive pass rusher who played every special team unit. Saban called him the best ST player he ever coached. If Bills don’t have an edge that makes sense early might be worth one of the 4ths. Zah Frazier- UTSA-CB 6’3” 200 4.36 40. Excellent size and speed combo from the same program as Seattle Seahawks CB Woolen. Only 10 starts after transferring, 15 pass break ups and 6 ints. Ton of potential upside but will be 25 in his rookie year. In the 4th/5th if still around a great 2nd cb for the Bills to take. The last time they did that it worked out very well.
  10. The mocks we do and see really show the dilemma the Bills face at 30. CB early is likely the move based on it’s the biggest need for an immediate perceived lack of high end depth at CB vs DT. But hey what does anyone really know with Benford 🤷🏻‍♂️
  11. I should have been more clear. Even some starters before Mac had better numbers at Alabama than Milroe. But his upside vs Mac is much higher in the NFL. He could also never start a game, who knows. Not sure he’ gets there but the NFL apparently thinks he’s worth a first round pick since he’s been invited to the draft. But absolutely his college career left a lot to be desired.
  12. Seems bit early to consider trading Coleman after one year. Who played relatively well until the late hit from the former Bill. Samuel with an $8m price tag is going to get zero interest. All in the name of a Tarzan plays like Jane, and D2 big slot. Not seeing I don’t want those guys in the draft, but not sure they unseat Coleman.
  13. Bit surprised Tre Harris is leading the poll. He’s a slightly faster X than Coleman. I would see Royals as a better option as a home run threat. I just don’t see a WR value here vs improving the D in some way.
  14. I agree, at CB you have Parrish, Alexander, and Denzel Burke from Ohio State along with the previously mentioned Strong. But they all will likely be around at 62. So another DT or Edge makes sense.
  15. So Tua, Hurts, and Young for sure. Mac Jones debatable. Before then just a bunch of guys who he certainly has far more potential than.
  16. @Virgil If someone else has been given the Jags, you can scratch this pick. I have to get my pick in as I will be out of pocket for the rest of the night. With the 36th pick in Mock #2 The Jacksonville Jaguars select, Shavon Revel, Jr, CB, East Carolina. Revel at 6'3'' 195 and a 4.4 40, Revel brings a high level athlete at CB to the Jags. He is coming off an ACL in September of 2024, otherwise he was a first round top 15 pick in this draft. In addition to being a solid tackler and having 12 pass breakups he blocked 2 kicks in 2023. If the knee recovers the Jags have themselves a great value pick at 36. With the 37th pick in Mock #2 The Las Vegas Raiders select Luther Burden lll, WR, Missouri. The Raiders continue to fill the skill positions after taking Will Johnson in round 1. Burden is a strong thick slot who has a look of Deebo Samuel. He played in the slot 87% of the time and was a two time all SEC selection. That kind of production in the best conference in the nation shows his potential. With Myers on the outside he gives Geno Smith other target along with the best TE room in the NFL. He is tremendous after the catch and improved his drop rate to 3.8% in 2024. The Raiders have a need at RB but with the depth at that position in the draft, the pick of Burden aligns with the BPA at a position of need. The Broncos and @LEBills are now on the clock...
  17. @Virgil I can do the Jags if you don’t have someone.
  18. All true but they scored 19 in SB and while the run D was dreadful JK didn’t push the ball downfield to give Norwood a better % kick. He was lights out inside 45 in his career. Not to mention Steve Young SB lead up was pleading with JK and some players to not got caught up in the festivities of the week..
  19. The Bills need to nail down 3 impact players in this draft. Unless a player slides I’m not sure it’s worth giving up 62. The heart of this draft is 16-64.. let’s get 3 of those guys imho.
  20. Perhaps JK is slightly overrated. The first SB the Bills should have won and the O didn’t produce. Having said that, stats from 86-96 and now are not comparable. Too many changes since to compare fairly. It is a very hot take but not sure I would go that direction. How about the year Ferguson played on one leg vs Chargers? That team would have won the SB with a healthy Fergy!! I’ll hang up and listen 😆
  21. Hmm that is interesting 🤨.. just think most teams think Ward is significantly better. But it the Titans don’t sure is an option. But they didn’t even have a one on one visit, so they are all in on Ward.
  22. Just heard that Derrick Carr has a significant shoulder issue. Checking out medical options to see if he will be available to start the season 🤷🏻‍♂️.. seems SS might be the fit if this is accurate.
  23. And he’s far more explosive but equally dependable as Beasley. With all the available Bills overrated options, I don’t see it.
  24. @GunnerBill try some TheraFlu and get some rest 😆
  25. West coaster here. Apologies for the slow pick!!! With 6th pick of the 2025 TWS draft the Las Vegas Raiders select; Will Johnson, CB, Michigan. The Raiders with Jeanty off the board go for BPA at their highest positional need. Johnson is a game changer athletic traits made for CB. In a deep draft of RB’s they can fill RB in the 2nd of 3rd. The Jets and @section122 are on the ⏰
