  1. Correct and your expectations are higher for a 3rd round pick mid season? That helped the Bills D significantly. Cooper I will concede didn’t work out. But both mid season were viable trades to help the Bills win. Rather Bills do that than nothing mid season.
  2. You are the only person I’ve experienced who says Hufanga, Holland, and Milton are elite. Heavy overpays by all accounts. Metcalf and Reddick are good but not elite. FA overpays isnt how rosters are built for success in the NFL. It’s primarily via the draft and keeping your own good players. He’s sacrificed this season by not overpaying in FA for above average players but keeping his own at below market value? Benford is a better value than any player you have listed. Good chat it’s clear we won’t agree. But I wish you good day sir. Go Bills 👍
  3. You are doubling down that the Douglas trade was bad? Did you watch him play in the first year? He was outstanding.
  4. All good. We are pretty much on the same page overall 👍
  5. All good points. I’m just asking who are these players? How are you acquiring them? Metcalf perhaps would be considered an impact player with Allen, but he was good not great in Seattle. Pitt has a more valuable 2nd round pick. So what a 1st and a $30M contract? Not getting Benford signed would seem a regression as you note. He’s a top 5 10 corner and impacts every game. The top DE’s in FA got locked up. Bills don’t sign Groot, Bernard, Shakir ? How are they better? BB has missed on some key picks absolutely but hit on many others. The Bills have drafted very late for years. BB is a top 5 GM. Is it enough to get the Bills a SB ? We shall see. I’m waiting for an explanation of what this off season he should have done differently 🤷🏻‍♂️
  6. Again you state your disagreement with BB and his approach. What impact players were you going to add. Open to examples 🤷🏻‍♂️
  7. Seems the rest of NFL and media think the Bills have effectively kept their young core. And at reasonable cost while addressing the DL with Bosa, and the suspended players. And the draft offers strength at DT and CB while they have 3 players to draft in the first 62. So, to say the Bills will be similar doesn’t align with reality. They have reset this team while getting rid of high cost vets in the backside of their careers. How might they have approached it better ?
  8. Are you suggesting the Douglas trade for a 3rd was bad? Cooper maybe, but the team scored 30 pts a game and he took attention from others and was injured. Cooper maybe is looking for a deal too high for age and production. Sad on Hollins is where I’ll agree.
  9. Struggles with man?? Based on what ? Statistics show in all situations he’s a top 5 corner. He may be better at zone but struggles in man 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. I don’t think a 2nd is unreasonable. It depends on signing potential. If Bills are offered 10M and he’s firm on 15M you see what teams would part with a 2nd. Las Vegas and Dallas come to mind as well as possibly the Browns and Chargers. If no offers you franchise if needed. But a long hold out type drama is not how the Bills roll.
  11. Absolutely! Funny reading social media responses. As if the Bills wildly overpaid him. Hysterical and then solid football fans who know the value. Great comedy on a Saturday pre elite 8 games !
  12. Cook unlike Benford has taken negotiations publicly. The last guy who carried on like that got traded for a 2nd rounder this year. I’m not saying it will happen but Cook to LV or Dallas for a 2nd would not shock me 🤷🏻‍♂️.. strong RB draft. Gives Bills 3 2nd rounders one of which they use on a home run threat RB ? Call me crazy but?
  13. Seems an odd place for the diva! Who freaked about the Bills because they couldn’t win the big one.. as if he was separate from it. Texans made sense. Pats in a rebuild is a $$$ grab. But who other than them were going to offer those $$$. If he really wanted to win he signs a one year deal for $ 8m-10m ..nope it’s fooling the weak.
  14. I think the long term core players would also be impacted. And again we just had a high priced diva WR and I think the Bills are over that. Have not imho seen enough for that contact.
  15. Seems he’s been good but not great for a $30 M price tag. And therefore impacting the other moves Bills have made to keep some core Bills and FA’s like Bosa 🤷🏻‍♂️
  16. Not significantly different than what I’m saying. We all want more from both of them and based on draft position that’s reasonable. But comparing to no brainer all pros WR’s drafted in the top 10 it’s not reasonable. Any of those players if the Bills had a shot at them would have better choices..
  17. Kincaid played through an injury the entire year post Colts game because 17 made a bad pass. Do he and Coleman need to step up? Absolutely 👍.. way too early for bust labels. Let’s see what this year brings and then let’s revisit this thread.
  18. Let’s compare a team with multiple receiving options vs a bad team. 2 guys drafted late first or early 2nd vs 1 wr in draft on a bad team. And both players were injured vs a full season. Your context has a lack of context 😆
  19. Makes senses other than WR and RB have significantly different pay scales. Fair or unfair.. WR at peak is $40M and RB $20M.. so there’s that. Absolutely his brother is helping him make poor decisions with his communication. Adding he should play all 3 downs shows a low level of maturity and emotional intelligence.. based on the success the rb group has had with the Bills. That makes him better and more impactful when he does play. It’s unfortunate because he’s a big part of this team. We shall see but I’m getting the vibe the Bills are tiring of this behavior..
  20. Yikes not even drinking!! Ascending, on the climb, things are looking up, pointing northbound!! My bad 😆
  21. Cooper is on his arc decline while Palmer is on the decent.. I see Palmer as an upgrade.. CS healthy WR group is solid.
  22. 💯.. Cooper while playing banged up didn’t move the needle. Palmer is being greatly underrated as he was in the top 5 in the nfl in separation. Coleman has been called out, and Samuel showed flashes in the last quarter of the season. Draft a guy in the 5Th add to others on roster and they will be just fine.
  23. He played through the knee injury when Josh made a terrible pass.. agree he’s been ok. Preposterous to suggest he’s even close to a bust. The Bills score 30 points a game with multiple athletes.. he will contribute and being healthy I expect a good year.
  24. Seems if Bills were close they resign him. Apparently the Bills were not close. I don’t think that necessarily means he didn’t want to come back. Somewhat shocking the Bills let him go for such a relatively low price. How much is wanting to make sure Coleman develops and is on the field given the addition of Palmer 🤷🏻‍♂️?
  25. BB on the whole has been a very solid GM. In particular on the O side of the ball. The D has simply not got it done to support the HOF QB with 5 prime years left. Many misses (BB) and is this D approach viable (McD) to create a SB championship🤷🏻‍♂️.. both own it 50/50. Conventional thought has been 90-10 McD’s fault. It’s closer to 50/50 as per OP.
